Transferring from soli to rockwool cubes

My plants are about 4 weeks old growing under cfl's 16/8 and are currently in soil.

I'm hoping that some one could tell me that if I were to change to cubes now and run a hydro setup or an aero setup, would this kill the plants. I,m feeding them dutchmaster original a/b at normal dose.

Started from seed in jiffy pots, since transferred to soil they look shit. Note the soil does have a slow release fert in it, what would you do? What do you think?

Start over IMO, that plant looks fucked and trying to transplant it would prolly kill it off just in lost root mass. If you knew how plants grow in rockwool you'd know this isn't even an option, your best bet would be neopyrene (spelling?) foam, it's a sturdy but compressible foam like on the foam kids alphabet floor things if you know what I'm talkin about. Anyways you'd put that around the base of the stem above the roots and then into your system, but you can't really let it grow big in them. Soil's easy as hell though, toss some small rocks in the bottm of a pot, toss some time release soil with some pearlite mixed in (or MG moisture control) over it, plot in your seed and water the thing when the pot feels light. Oh and toss a layer of perlite around the stem - keeps bugs out in my experience. A lot of people think that 1st harvest (ok I'm assuming this is your 1st grow) is gonna be pounds cause they're conna pump that bitch full of nutes til she explodes with thems sticky ass buds... and end up killing it like you just did.

ya just like fuzzo said...... rockwool is not gona help this problem. and also cut the nuts completely out.....may b 1/4 strenght of some starter. really though the companys that make these foods for plants ther measure ments of wat it should be is way the fk off. even more so during seed starting and or 2 to 3 wks of clones. plus on of novice growers proplem number one problem is overwatering. as like for myself i give only 2oz of water every 2 days or 3. and i do measure out evry girl 2oz. bottom line is read the girl not back of the food bottle. and still u could sabe those if like but still do wat fuzzo said with perlite and rocks. it'l help get oxagen to the roots and will grow faster.
