And your ancestors would be? I agree with you though. Abraham lincoln is another president that I admire. But I only admire certain qualities of any person, as all people have negative tendancies. I am American Indian (or to be correct, an ancestor of the indiginous peoples of the continent referred to as "the continental United States of America").... I know all about the opression served upon people of color and natural harmonies.... Im going to make pasta tonight, :D for my wonderful wife... I should have already started.... anyways...

Got 3 cu. ft each today of Bio Bizz All Mix, Fox Farms Ocean Forest, and Earth Juice Amazon Bloom, as well as 3.5 cu ft of perlite, :).... I will post more about it later or tomorrow though, as I get into it a bit more.... thanks for the props guys.... had a bad day at work today...... happy to be home :)

Cherokee, from the mountains of NC.
Really? Cherokee you say? Interesting you spelled it wrong...... and we (because I am descendant of same peoples) don't call it "Cherokee".

To be called Cherokee or call yourself so, is to be belittled and oppressed back into the same disposition as our ancestor slaves. And which side did your family come from?

Do you even know the real name of the people you claim to be ancestors of? And if so, do you know what that "name" of our peoples MEANS???

This is not a personal attack, this is me being tired of people claiming they are "Cherokee" and having no fucking idea what they are talking about!

Its all about respect, tradition, truth, and honor. Pure and simple. Pretty serious issues if you ask me, and it has very little to do with me myself, and more to do with the way things are and why.

this is me being tired of people claiming they are "Cherokee" and having no fucking idea what they are talking about!

My grandmother's father was George Fox of the Wild Potato clan. And yes I probably know more about my heritage than you think I do, it's funny you assume I don't know shit. Tsalagi is the proper name, but why would I assume that you know that and come on here saying, I'm from Tsalagi and Ahnigatgewi? I have immense pride in my background, and was a registered member of the Eastern Band until my dad renounced it due to conflict with tribal leadership and the casino industry. Since we were grandfathered, no one in my blood line will ever be able to claim tribal membership now since no family was on any of the census rolls taken in the early 1900's. my native side of the family come from Murphy, North Carolina and Northern Georgia, married the daughter of a Quaker from PA, who was married to an unknown Cherokee.

i'm also a member of several activist groups and have been fighting to end blood quantum laws and improve life for people of ANY indeginous groups.

Don't act like I don't know shit about my ancestry, I'm in the epicenter and I stay connected. Im not some douche who blasts "im cherokee because i have some engines in my family". :peace:

Like I said its not a personal attack at all, like you I am tired of those who say "im cherokee because i have some engines in my family".

And it seems that you and I are more closely related than either of us were aware. God Damn blood quantum laws AND Casino's. Im sorry if I insulted you, and Rep + to you, and please accept my apology, I hope you can understand why I got upset, :peace:

thanks man. I personally think Cherokee Nation is now a sham, especially with it's current leadership. There's a few, more traditional tribes out there which aren't federally recognized, but i've decided I'd rather not belong to a group of modern day natives who bitch and fight over issues of money, land, and power.

I've come to respect and honor my heritage on both sides, native and european. my european ancestry is fucking crazy, I have some big dogs in my direct lineage. if you can't tell, i love some history and genealogy.

Me too to a point. I am also a couple native Californian tribes that aren't federally recognized... I just got sick of it all, and plan to do more and get more involved when I go back to school in the next couple of years.......

Thank you so much...... Im about to start another job to get some more income. Kind words, gestures, and signs of affection and gratitude are my payment. I have a cancer patient that was given 1 yr to live, she was given this prognosis 3 yrs ago, and she firmly believes that it is her Cannabis use that has given her the emotional, spiritual, and even physical strength to keep going :D. I have been with her since the beginning. She isn't employed at all anymore... she has almost 1,000,000 in medical bills from surgery and doctors visits her insurance wouldn't cover. She smokes about an oz a month, and it is more important that she gets her herb than me. She isn't supposed to lift anything more than 10 lb.'s, she has had neck, back, stomach, and foot surgery all in the last two years, she also had a tumor removed from just behind her eye. She can't grow her own.... so I grow it for her..... and her smile, her breathing..... what better payment is there???

Hey...I'm part Sioux but I don't know if that's the "correct" term. Is that ok?:?

I don't think Casinos should be allowed to serve alcohol anywhere....... honkeys are fine!....... Im not Sioux, Im not sure if that is the actual way you say/spell it, I will ask my mom (LOL). Im a little Irish Scottish on my Grandmothers side...... geneology is fun isn't it. I wonder if we are all really related, and if so, the degree to which we are.

Plants loved the rain yesterday... took a 6 hour shower until the weight became a little too much for the Sensi Star, so they got moved under shelter just before sundown..... now its sunny, and I think they want to go dry out and dance on the wind....... The mommas I mean....... all of the pots I have are filled with soil...... a mix I made myself.... plants will be ready to go into them next week I believe, :D

Im starting to think some of my plants will start to flower immediately after going outside for good. I have been checking light schedules, the almanac, measuring, etc. Im going to put a batch of 13 Purple Kush out next week to start hardenning them off after they recover from transplant to see for sure. If they do start to flower immediately, no harm done, they will go indoors to finish. If they don't, I will let them veg for a couple weeks and put them indoors as well.
Yeah, I know the days are getting longer etc. Its all about placement (like in the crevace of a NORTH facing mountainside for example).

So, Soil Prepped and potted yesterday. I put the Earth Juice Amazon bloom in the bottom 4 inches (1/3) of all the pots with an added 15% perlite. I then took my sifted and screened local soil and mixed it with 25% perlite added. I then took a 1/2 and 1/2 mix of the Bio Bizz All Mix and Fox Farms Ocean Forest and added 15% more perlite. After mixing the two different mixtures (local and half and half) in two different wheel barrows I n mixed the two mixtures together really well (about 15 minutes of strait mixing each time I mixed in any ingredients) and added the complete mix to fill the pots the rest of the 2/3 that was left. then I let the rain soak the pots for a little bit. There is about 1 inch from top of soil to top of pot, :) Everything is looking good.... I will edit and add pics....
