damn those beeoches are looking good mayn. but one question for ya i have a setup kinda like yours, how do u keep the temps down to a good range wit dem cfls, i got 8 and my temps are to the limit of 85.5 and i have to keep my closet open, but i want it closed ya feel? i got a fan running but if i add more lights to flower i need a bigger fan and thats too much noise in dea. butcha mayn if ya can help me out id be grateful thanks.

Yo Sicc, it's been a while. looking good man, nice and frosty. you should write a book on this shit man, got the science down. i'll be posting new pics soon i started flowering sunday morning gots like 12x26w along with a 46w + AG hood lots of lumines. good luck dude i hope u get 2oz plus.

Thanks homie, to tell you the truth i dont really checc my temps, i have a ghetto exhaust, basically i cut the back out towards the top, like a long rectangle which i made into a vent that go's up and the hot air rises out the back, into my room. i have a fan on 24/7 :lol: and my window open ;)

welll guys, i have some bad news, on my damn phone now haha, my fucin transformer blew this morning at like 7am, my lights go on at 4 am, so ima have no power untill like 1 or 2 pm cali time, this gon hermie the shit outta my plants or what? my plan is to switch the timer to around that time, cause i will be at work, when the guy comes, so the plants will probably only get about half of the light for today, as if shit couldnt get worse, its like the gnaja gods dont want me growing haha :lol: help a brotha out

shouldnt be a prob... just resume the normal schedule at 4am tomorrow

No worries bro it happened to me about a week ago. The power company cut off the wrong person's power :cuss: I thought I forgot to pay the bill or something. My plants only got two hours of light that day but they are doing fine now. Mine were in soil though, I would be more concerned that the air-pump is not running in your set up.

You should be fine man, extra darkness is no problem, extra light in the middle of a dark period over several steady intervals or not enough darkness is where problems start happening. (Assuming you don't want to reveg in the middle of flowering, lol)

As long as there are no light leaks, your plants shouldn't go hermi.

Extra darkness in a period of light will just give them some time to juice up the root structure.

hey sicc i was thinking about gettin one of those 24inch florecent ballast grow lights for some extra light for the under growth since fan leaves are blocking alot of the light from getting to the lower growth.also was thinking about makeing a clone box with one of those florecent ballasts to. what do u think about all that?

I know you asked sicc, but....

2 foot (24 inch) fluorescent fixtures only put out 2,000 lumens per bulb (max)

It is much cheaper and easier to just use cfls when you are talking about that small of a scale.

4 foot (48 inch) fluorescent fixtures put out 4,000 per bulb, and the bigger you go the more benefit they have over cfls, but at 2 feet, its not worth it.

You shouldn't worry about undergrowth getting light, its getting energy through the rest of the fan leaves that are absorbing all of the light.

It doesn't matter how or where the plant gets light, the fact that it GETS light is what matters.

You can build a really nice cloner for real cheap if you use your AG nets, just make holes big enough for the nets to rest in there, but not so big that they fall through.

2x1.5 gal tub ($3)
15 gal pump ($15)
airstone ($2)
tubing ($5)

Spray paint the outside of one of the tubs, then use the other clear on as a humidity dome.

1x 26W 6500K cfl should be enough light to root clones, you can probably fit 6 clones in that one tub with enough room for them to grow if you give them more light.

yea NG thats what i was worried about. the damn air pump, but the power should be on here soon, i got my sisters boyfriend ready to set the time back to the normal time, i put it to 1pm cali time, so any timer after that he will set it up, took a peek into the cab this morning and they look so plump haha, makin me feel better homie, good lookin out again,


and listen to lurk hawk, he is the master of lumens haha bongsmilie
