Yeah, mines pretty shitty water, so I have to use distilled or drinking water form the store.
So I suppose buying a RO system would be beneficial....i might do that eventually.

Do u see a difference in the distilled vs. tap water? I think if it tastes good it should be ok. They are really green and only 4-5 sickies.

Happy tho!:peace:

Do you have updated pics of your babes?

I have my camera just trying to get some batteries into it. Im not sure about windows vista uploading pictures on desktop, its so lame. Shes very healthy though. Think I see some brown spotting though around the tip. Ive seen these little guys crawling around but I been keeping up with my garden safe..so they havent really infested to much. Hope it isnt a nute burn either or I might just have to go with water/nute/water schedule instead of just nutes + water every feeding.

Edit: Gotta wait until 12am to take pics, my lights come on during night hours so I dont have to worry about morning temps.

That sucks and store can get expensive.

I was going to go with distilled but I tested the ph on some and it came out to bad. I just go to the store and buy a case of aquafina. Yea its expensive but until I go get some ph up and down, and a really good meter..its what ima have to stick with. Been treatin me well

I check all the water I use with a tds meter and ph meter, when I use it, and after I add any nutes. Yes, theirs a big difference. The distilled water I've been getting is usually about ph 6.5, 40 ppm. My tap water is ph 8.4 and 188 ppm.So, big difference. I've been using rain water, too, but the other day I got some really acid rain, and decided to get distilled water just in case.

If you see bugs crawling on the plant, it's already an infestation.Try to take pics of what kind they are.You can get some pest strips and put them down.If there are larvae in the soil, you can add some peroxide to the water, probably a cup per gallon.Garlic is a natural way to drive bugs off, maybe crush a couple of cloves and put them on your soil.Otherwise, the damn things will get in your buds.So be aggressive.

A cup of peroxide to a gallon I might end up trying. The garlic sounds more appealing/natural as long as it doesnt effect any part of the plant. Ill definately research it thanks. The bugs I see are those little light gray ones that fly around. Since ive used garden safe I dont really see them. Sometimes see 1 or 2 on surface. The other week I saw this creepy little 6 leg tanish looking fuck. I was really pissed. Someone told me to just keep up with garden safe and it will work, otherwise try somethin else. Thanks again man.

Edit: Garden safe said its okay to Foliage spray, but it gives me chills to think about spraying the leaves with that.

Yeah, check for sure, pretty sure a cup per gallon will do.I'd be worried about putting any insecticide on it...you have to smoke it eventually. I know in this garden book I have, they have a recipe for insecticidal soap...it's just Ivory soap(you can run it across a cheese grater) in some water.Suds it up and apply the suds to the plant.
