FOR FUCK SAKES!!! I think i have a hermie in my garden. While i was inspecting my buds, i noticed this one particular bud that was a lot smaller then the adjacent buds. I also noticed that it has no crystals on it and looks different. The two lower buds on this branch have crystals and look normal, but the top looks weird so i cut it off. The rest of the plant looks perfectly normal Here are the pictures, tell me what you think.

idk TOke. I just harvested and some of my lower buds have very little noticeable trichs. i didn't even know that was a sign of hermaphrodism. good luck.

That top little buds is a lot smaller then other buds that are/were right beside it. It also has these pod thingys, no hairs coming from these pod thingys?

absolutely a hermaph...not that uncommon really, some of them dont even spread pollen. the test is in how much seed does it produce in the end...hopefully none!

Here are some pictures of the hermie plant, it is the one that i topped. In the last picture you can see where i cut that shoot from, it was hard to spot that little bastard. They are in the fourth week of flowering. I'm am disappointed that i may see some seeded bud.

i wouldn't mind having a seed or 2 of that bud. yep, those are male pods. a whole cluster of them. i usually see them in pairs. just 2 here or there. keep an eye out for more and cut them off. your buds look crystaly.

Okay thanks fdd, that's what i kind of thought but just couldn't believe my eyes today when i seen that shit. So yeah the first thing i did was cut it off, then post later for confirmation. I will definitely keep my eyes open for more of these.

If you take seeds from a hermie plant wont you be growing a strain that will produce more hermies(and seeded bud)I was under the impression that hermies are bad.

I have spent hours staring at this plant trying to find some more of male pods and can't find anymore. So would this be a hermaphrodite plant, or just a female plant that may have been stressed some how and grew a banana? This was the topped plant and i did have a light leak for the first week or so during flowering due to my stupidity.

Well it's been about a week and i don't see anymore male pods or bananas. I am assuming that it's a female that grew a banana for some strange reason.

Im noticing some growth similar to that on my plants as well, its a small light green shoot coming out of the top preflower bud, and its color totally makes it stick out, Ive been watching it closely, however the bud still is crystally and healthy looking...

So cutting off male parts of a hermie makes everything better... or what?

I harvested this girl and got 63 grams of bud after drying! I also smoked probably close to a quarter oz already, and before weighing it so it would be safe to say that she yeilded very close to 2.5 ounces of very nice bud in total. I smoked about 10 joints and haven't seen a seed yet...
