Fan leaves dying 4th week flowering

The top fan leaves on one of my plants main colas are all shivelling up and dying/drooping, the smaller bud leaves are all fine and the lower leaves on the plant are fine, it may be nute burn or heat, I'm not too bothered about the cause what I want to know is will the bud production on this cola be fucked/stunted or will it continue to flower nicely?
All the bud sites and pistls look healthy, its just the fan leaves that appear to be affected. I know leaves dont grow back and they are solar panels that provide energy but they are still attached and have some green on them and the smaller leaves are healthy so will the bud be OK??

Well fan leaves are good, BUT you can cut off some that are turning/mostly yellow... As these Fan leaves will suck out the energy of your plant.. you only want healthy until almost end of flower...

Also if you could take some pics it would really help...

use nitrogen high fert like whatever u did for veg just one more time. it wont mess up flowering to bad and the fan leaves will be happy and not die till much deeper into flowering if at all

no dont cut healthy looking yellowing fan leaves the plant is still taking stuff from em, wait till they shrivel almost completely. plus ur 1 time dose of nitrogen will probally be more than enough to revitalize most of em and they will recover

As these Fan leaves will suck out the energy of your plant
why do people keep believing this? they make food till the plant decides it would be more beneficial to take its nutrients from the fan leaves and focus em somewhere else. the yellow fan leaves are in the process of being dropped by the plant itself after it takes what it wants and kill the leaf itself when it decides its done with it

if the fan leaves are turning yellow the plant therefore is killing them off.. why make your plant waste energy to fuck with the leaves while you could just cut them off and have more light to lower leaves... especially bud leaves... It is in flower...

eh, to each his own, i suppose.
"taking nutrients from the fan leaves and focus em somewhere else is why they turn yellow, again the plant will kill the leaf when it is done with it. the yellow fan leaves are in the process of being dropped by the plant itself after it takes the nutrients and stored energy (fan leave store energy in them) it wants "

Agreed. Are the leaves starting to yellow from the bottom up?

Either way it doesn't really matter... you can let it do it naturally or cut it yourself...

The leaves aren't so much yellow, they look more nute/heat burned and they are drooping quite a bit, I'm pretty sure its a combination of slight overwatering and too much nutes, (I slightly overdid the watering on this particular plant) I figure I'll just flush it tomorrow if they don't perk up, they still look mostly green just real limp and a bit burned, so I guess they are still saveable, you can reverse nute burn right? I wont pull them unless they are literally falling off, another quick question, the little bud leaves with the trichs on are they sufficient to sustain the bud production or are they just there to look pretty?

Ok fuuuuuuck!!!!!!
The problem is severe (!!!!!!!!) nute burn, almost every leaf on the plant is dead/dying and shrivelled, going to flush now and pray that it revives...fuck!!!!!!!!!

ah man! that sucks! i know the feeling, ill hope (i dont pray) she pulls through too! is it only fan leaves dying or is it all the leaves? if its fan leaves only u can save her leave all of them on unless u can just pull on it and it comes off it will shock her and she will have to make newer younger leaves turn into her main energy makers so it will divert her attention for a bit. ive done the same thing! i killed almost all my fan leaves by nute burn like 4 weeks in (also it got way to hot cuz my fan broke) she just stopped and made a bunch of smaller leaves take over and get bigger then resumed flowering......shes gonna look pretty fucked up though. lol

I have flushed the fuck out of it, but I think the damage has been done already, the only leaves that look ok are the ones around the bud sites (the small ones), and the very new growth at the bottom, every thing else is practically fucked, (dont need this shit got four fucking essays due in tomorrow) will the new lower growth at the bottom of the plant still transfer energy to the top cola even though it has no fan leaves at the top?

LOSS OF FAN LEAVES IS TOTALLY NORMAL AT YOUR STATE. DON'T PANIC.
they should drop because the plant is using up its last bit of nitrogen available - like it should.
DO NOT ADD NITROGEN FERTILIZERS AS IT WILL STUNT THE FLOWERING!

if it was a nute burn that sever you would have seen burning leaf tips all over the plant. and not only on the fan leaves.
if it was heat burn they would have gone twisting and become crisp.
if your in 4th week of flowering - fan leaves SHOULD drop.

i'm almost in the 4th week of flowering myself and from my 6 plant i expect to see about 10 dead leaves each day. sometimes more, sometimes less.
i see they are more sensitive to UNDERwatering too.

It is all over the plant, it is pretty much as severe as I could imagine it to be...all that looks Ok is the small leaves around the bud sites and the very newest growth at the bottom

sounds not-so-normal but not-that-bad.

post a picture so we could evaluate it better.

No it looks fucking bad, in fact Im looking at it now and I cant really see how it could be any worse, apart from the bud sites being fucked too, cant post a pic have no camera, just imagine your plant with only pistlls and no leaves and you get the picture, Im leaving the leaves on tho coz they dont seem to want to come off even tho they are shrivelled and crispy, suppose they are stil doing something, only thing that could be worse would be for it to turn hermie and pollinate my other plants, now that WOULD be worse

not that bad? are u kidding? the plant needs them to make and store energy. its a very bad thing for all your fan leaves to die, plus he's only 4 weeks into flower on top of that, a few that early is ok but all of em dying is not! they shouldnt die in mass until the plants nearly done and u stopped feeding, around 2 weeks after flushing....
