Spartan vs Ninja....who will win

Next week on deadliest warrior....who do you think will win? Spartan or Ninja?

Got a $20 bet on the line....Im thinking the ninja
 
Ninja by far, way more advance techniques and weaponry, stealth masters, I know the show will try to make it look closer than what it would really be though. In reality the ninja would take out the spartan before he ever knew what hit him.
 
i dont know what yall are talkin about but NINJA's fucking rule! so whatevr this is the ninja is gonna win.
 
hah, that movie wasnt exactly historically accurate and they also was facing a army with a similar fight "style" and weaponry. In the show, they pit 1 on 1 so numbers dont matter is just if one spartan fights one ninja. Ninja would stay hidden and prob just take him out with a poison dart or attack from behind. If it did end up a up close melee battle, the katana would cut through any armor and flesh and bone before the weighed down spartan can swing his heavy no where near as sharp and well manufactured sword. Ninja all they way

well in another episode of deadliest warrior they had viking vs samurai and the katana couldnt cut through the chain mail, so idk, i cant wait till tuesday to see who wins
 
It all boils down to the situation. In a forest setting and if the ninja starts out hidden then yeah. That ninja's going to win. However if its head to head the spartan stands a very good chance. Huge shield to deflect incoming throwing stars, darts, arrow's, so on and so forth. They have the strength and stamina to fight for long periods due to there extreme conditioning. Ninja's are designed to be quick and efficient stealth killing machines. Spartans are your hand to hand grandmasters. Unstoppable beasts, bred to do one single thing. KILL.
 
how the fuck are you gunna compare 2 diffrient fighting styles. a spartan was pretty much run down the battle feild and kill everything in its path. a ninja is more stealthy and makes silent and swift strikes. now, if you took the 2 of them and locked them in a cage with no place to hide, then the spartan would win, hands down. but if you throw the spartan in the woods or somthing like that, then the ninja would win. its all about the element.
 
i unno even if locked in a cage, it would still come down to the individual fighter, ninja could throw a couple ninja stars into the spartans legs, and bring him down then go into finish the job, they also had blow darts, small cross bows, grappling hooks, many weapons that could be used. Even up close the ninja will be much quicker and evasive, able to avoid a stike and implement a deadly one of his own.

rofl... I'm goin with ninja on this one, but come on... did you see the Apache vs. the Gladiator? That was ridiculous, the gladiator would pwn an apache! No doubt about it... so who knows with this show..
 
No amount of ninjas can challenge the phalanx! Then again, 1 vs 1... that'd be interesting. My money would still be on the spartan, as he'd likely smash the head of the ninja into a rock.

yea, assuming the spartan wouldnt touch the ninja. your forgeting that the ninja was not designed for that type of fighting. they had little to no armor. or any sheild to block a melee attack. if a ninja was to use a crossbow or blow dart, the spartan could simply block it. sure the ninja could dance around but if you cant attack him what is he going to do tire the spartan out? the spartan was designed to fight for extended periods of time. battles lasted for hours, even days. i dont think the ninja could stand a chance in a cage with a spartan warrior.
 
i say Ninja cause i thought the Viking was going to win, but those damn arrow's always give the warrior the biggest advantage, so im sure his nija stars or somthing stupid will end up wining, but who knos, its a good show
 
are we talking the two in a grudge match? and what kind of scenario? ninjas aren't train for a open fight. they're assassins. if you were to pit them against each other the spartan would win simply because that's were he'd have the advantage.

however if you're talking lethality then it's a toss up.
