This is my first grow and I have a 3 plant set up using a 150W HPS sunsetter light. I also have a 105W no name florecent grow light next to it which I used for the first week. The plants are grown from top 44 seeds and have been growing for about three weeks and are 6-8 inches tall. I also have a rotary fan on low aimed at them to mimick wind.

I was wondering when the best time swich them into the 12/12 cycle would be to start budding them. How tall should the plants be and what could me yield be from each plant. Hopefully atleast two are females.

Also the room i'm growing them in is realtivley cold about 45-50F. Is that too cold for the plants? Will the temperature affect my harvest? Any imput is appreciated.

you want to to keep your plants in the 60 degree range at least to ensure the bitches are happy.
also if its too cold they can turn male on you,I usually switch to 12/12 after the plant reaches 12-18 inches unless you have limited space in that case you could let it go longer remember the plants will sometimes triple in size during flowering hope this helped.

Actually you want ideal temps around 78 when the light is on and 65-68 when the light is off.

Top 44 is a good strai that does not really grow big but it finishes really early around 44 days after starting flower (hence the top 44 name).

Anyway 45-50 is cold, the plants will survive but will be stunted because of it. Wow, I can't believe I am saying this but get a little heater for your grow room!

Most people are trying to get rid of the heat not add it!
