Seedling with purple spiked leaves?

I have 2 seedlings that have just come up. One has a slight purple color to the edges of its spiked leaves, but the other one has purple almost all over its spiked leaves. Is this a problem?

it would help to see a picture but just sounds like a badass trait what is the tempurature of the room

I had a Durban Poison seedling before that was purple when it came up, it was fine after a week.

I wouldnt worry your self about it mate.

well if you live in southern california anywhere around where i do it is most likely that it is just a bit to cold for it if not i would say just a bad ass trait

same thing with mine and my stem is purple buts its healthy

almost all of my seedlings stems have been purple

Might be the strain, but to me it sounds like you need to give it just a hint of phosphorous. Not too much if it's still a seedling, but it's good to stop these problems before they become severe. Just give the plant a little and see how it goes, too much could make it burn so be careful. Look at the strain pictures from the seed bank you bought it from and see if any of the smaller leaves have a purple hue to them; if they do I wouldn't be worried. And as far as I know cold weather making plants purple is a wives tale.

I wuld look at pics from tha seed bank i bought it from, but tha seedlings I have come from seeds out of an assortment of different bags of weed.
