12 light 12 dark ?

i have grown plants 12/12 from seed with no veg cycle with great results. they dont "need" a veg cycle. and as far as the author claiming his technique is a result of extensive experimentation is fine and dandy, but until i see a grow with pics i'm not gonna try it. would you? If somebody claimed they did a bunch of experiments and the results said it was good to water my plants with vodka and orange juice i'm not gonna try it, i'm gonna think its absurd. show me a grow with increase yields from it and me and the ladies will be getting hammered on screwdrivers! and im not saying you are absurd, but that idea in that link seems to be. all i'm saying is it doesnt make sense... the only places on earth that ever gets 21 hours of light is the north and south poles, and nothing grows there. The equator gets 12/12 and thats where the lushest vegetation on the planet is. try it, if it works out and you get an improved yeild i'm on board. until then, it seems absurd. the earth is still flat, right???
Come on drop the rhetoric and be reasonable! It's not vodka. :cuss:

Vegetation 24/0 is just as impossible in nature and so are many more things used by indoor growers.
I am not going to try it because it would complicate my life. But I find that if the plant can be tricked into a 33:36 day, it should work out just fine. Actually I can imagine that the light period could be even longer. He did 21:36/12 only to fit 5 lamp-days in a sun-week. If you don't consider natural cycle at all, you might make the day even longer.

I am only theorizing here of course but I don't see a reason why it shouldn't work.

yea giving ur plants 13 hours of light the last week or two works..it makes ur plant use up the last of its energy to make bigger buds..i also give them 48-72 hours of dark before i harvest

u could probably do 14 hours of light to but i just do 13 the last week and before that during the whole flower period i always make sure my plant gets 12 1/2 hours of dark cuz i wanna make sure its getting a little more than 12 hours of dark before i switch to 13 hours of light

As many days as you like during flowering.
He gives 21h 36min light and 12h dark so in a (real=normal=human) week his plants do a 5 day cycle. Or at least that's what I understood.
He claims higher yields but longer flowering time.
I can't repeat it all man. You might as well read it there then.
