Too early to start?

So I've just finished preparing my outdoor site taking weeds out and bringing in soil (foxfarm ocean forest + happy frog+ perlite), and I'm planning on heading to the club to pick up some clones as soon as I can put them in the ground. I'm worried they might start flowering if I put them in now. Will this be a problem? Can I put them in now? I am in northern california by the way

Yup its a bit early,i would start early may,but if you can get the clones now and run them 18/6 inside until then, you will have monsters come fall:mrgreen::joint:
sadly inside is not a possibility at this point :(
there's no more frost here, but I think only like 13.5 hours of light per day...

Do it now, I'm in N. Cal myself and always try to have planting done by end of April. Good luck and post pics...These were planted on 4-11-09 :eyesmoke:
sounds good man! Wondering if you have been to Coffeeshop Blue Sky for clones(because you're in norcal). It 's where I'm gonna go asap.

yea he could do it now but depending on the clone's they could start flowering already, but i would wait until later this month at least so he's assured it wont flower, plus its good to let the soil sit a few weeks while turning it over every other day or so prior to planting it:blsmoke:

would a sativa or indica dominant strain be better suited to be planted early without flowering?
