hey luda, that plant is far from rootbound. Tap the roots if any soil falls off its not rootbound. If it gives in any way, not completely hard as a rock, NOT ROOTBOUND !!!!!!!!
Is it really hard to understand that you could LITERALLY KILL SOMEONE WITH A ROOTBOUND PLANT !! it would smash theyre head in, HARD AS ROCK. I have stated this 100 times, its fact, why argue something you cant win. Its you always debating the obvious, calling out mods who think your an idiot.

Leave your misconceptions in your own grow room.

EXPERIENCE
THIS IS ONE OF MY MALE PLANTS ROOTBALL I CHOPPED IT YESTERDAY.
IT WAS 13" TALL IN 1 GALLON OF SOIL.
I AM TRANSPLANTING THE FEMS TOMMOROW BUT WANTED TO SEE THE ROOTS THAT WERE LEFT IN THE POT BY MY 13" PLANT AND ALSO TO PRACTICE TRANSPLANTING MY NOW 15" TALL PLANTS THAT ARE STILL IN 1 GALLON POTS(PICS TAKEN TODAY).
THE COMPLETE ROOTBALL AND ALL THE SOIL CAME OUT AS ONE.
I WOULD NOT SAY IT WAS ROOTBOUND BUT IT CLEARLY SHOWS THAT A 13" PLANT IN 1 GALLON OF SOIL IS NOT REALLY ADEQUATE.
SO ANYONE WHO DISPUTES THAT THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS ROOTBOUND PLANTS OR ROOTBIND IS DEFINATELLY WRONG AS I JUST PROVED IT TO MYSELF.
(the information is only retarded if its being read by a retard).
FACT.
LUDACRIS.
this is very strange i must say as ive seen ludacris results out of tiny containers. in my experience its more about your mixture and your nutes rather than actual potsize. ill borrow my friends digicam in a couple days to show what im talking about, considering i have super healthy plants 2 weeks into flowering that havnt slowed down or been stunted one bit. I know lots of you are saying "big deal, thats easy" but let me say this.
Currently my plants are between 16-24 inches tall and heres the clincher, im using 12 OUNCE DISPOSABLE DRINK CUPS. Plants are very happy, no stunting, and branching just as they did in larger buckets when i believed the whole 12 inches = 1 gallon of soil rule. Funny thing is they are actually more healthy in the tiny cups than they were in bigger pots, granted i switched up my nute schedule. Gonna try to find an old friends grow blog, he used 20oz soda bottles cut off near the top, 9 per sq foot, yielded about 6-8 grams per clone in his box because of his soil/nutes. PS his grow was only with cfls and he still pulled this off.

This guy luda is missing chromosomes, people have stated that time and time again, it just doesnt register with this guy, he's literally missing a chromosome, and is still bent about it.

Since your odviously strung up on your own methods this probably wont even get to you. I water every other day in 12 ounce cups. If you are lazy to the point where you need giant containers to avoid watering and prefer to drown the bottom roots once a week and cut them off from air thats your choice and you should honestly be buying your buds instead of tormenting plants. Since I've been told you ignore every piece of advice given to you this is for everyone else; root systems grow STRONGER/FASTER when the soil is MOIST not WET. if you only have to water your plants once a week you are DROWNING ROOTS SOMEWHERE, as the soil is soaked for at least a day if it is to retain so much water for so long. The way i see it proportianally you should have to water all your plants at the same time, ESPECIALLY if your using this 12'' = 1 gallon rule. Considering i have larger moms in 3 gallons, nearly 2' flowering plants in 12 ounce cups, and 2 flowering with like 6 heads in 2 gallon pots, yet all my soil dries evenly and needs to be watered at the same time. Now either your methods could use tweaking or i somehow became the Weed Whisperer in my sleep, but hey; to each his own i supose.
