Co2 vs an air Scrubber

Hi

This is my first post.

I want to install a carbon scrubber in my growroom. Will this remove my added co2 gas?

Thanks

Yes it will.
Thanks Herbose!

How do I get around this problem? Alternate the Co2 gas timer with the scrubber timer?...

Or should I just forget the scrubber
and take my chances on the "bouquet" escaping the growroom? (I have mixed emotions about not getting to smell my babies, anywho :-):weed:

you could always go with a carbon filter instead or an ozone generator.

I see. I have a closed ventilation system using a 1000w cool tube.
I'm trying to figure out how to reduce odor without losing CO2.

I hear that ozone generators can cause problems and
a carbon filter through a separate fan/duct would still take the
CO2 out of the room, no?

Sorry, I'm such a newbie. This is probably a no brainer for most of you guys

If you are looking something strictly for odor control, you could get a carbon filter stand alone unit. I ran one of these in a 10x10 room when I had a small 4 plant CFL grow. It did a really good job of dealing with the odor IMO....

Oh...I get it (duh)

You hook the carbon flter up to the fan and duct but don't
pipe it outside but just recirculate the air in the room, right?
And this carbon fiter won't affect the CO2 levels?

Thanks for the help

This is pretty cool. I was looking for something like that and could find anything.
Which direction is the airflow? Does the fan pull air in through the hole and push it through the filter or the other way around?

Carbon filters DO NOT remove CO2 by themslves unless you are venting to the outside, also CO2 is heavier than air, so if you have your filter at the top of the room and the co2 in the middle I doubt much would get sucked through to begin with. The hardest part of CO2 is getting the PPM levels correct.

It sucks the air through the filter and out the fan on top.
