your plants are the mutts nuts mate, i wish mine had looked that healthy. they are so uniform. amazing! a couple of pics of my jh clones. i waited until the other clones started to grow normally then cloned the normal growth, i've probably wasted a few weeks but i didn't trust the weird ones.. the bigger one at the back is the ww. i didn't want to loose those big yeilding genes!

i think i did ok on the node spacing,i had no stretch really in the veg stage allthough i was constantly fighting temp with the light being so close.
Hey Mared.....remember that mongrel weed plant i put in my chamber for my friend?....haha i found out yesterday it was jack Herer!!!...he's got it in his back garden at the moment and its looking sweet

Oscar, node spacing has a lot to do with light as well as genetics. A strain has a certain amount it will stretch no matter how much light, true, but if you skimp on the light it will stretch out even more. You want to keep the node spacing to a minimum. The closer the buds are to each other the more they will merge into one huge bud.

i can't believe you've got jh, i wish i had mates like that! i chopped one of mine last night, i'll do the other two today. it smells so different from the ww. i'm gonna try and dry/cure the jh better than i did with the ww coz i really want to get it right. i'm so looking forward to doing it all again.
mared is it better to have slightly longer node spacing so that the buds have more room to grow? i'm asking coz i don't know if i should veg my jh's under my cfls for a bit longer or get 'em under the hps as quick as i can.

nah i havent got JH oscar,a mate of mine had it on his windowsill when i started my grow and it looked withtered and dead...i put it under the light for a few weeks till mine overtook it and then i gave it back...it looks lovely now.Man it must be like christmas round your house at the mo
As for node spacing im presuming you need to keep them pretty much close to each other to promote main cola growth and cut out popcorn....it seems thats how mine have grown anyway

i must admit it is pretty good at my gaff atm, not a bit of chinese grit weed in sight. why people buy that crap is beyond me, i think i'd rather smoke soapbar or just go without.
i've taped the tops of my jh's to the side of the pots to encourage the bottom branches to grow more, thats what i did last time and it seemed to work ok. the main stems are quite flexible so the the main growing tip is below the soil. i'm gonna get some kind of netting to stretch across the tent so i don't have to fuck about with stakes again.

Not sure if theyre seedsmans or not....i got em from marijuana-seeds.nl but they do use a breeder over in the uk...not sure who though.
btw your plants look nice,how have you grown em?....giz some details
They are grown in 11 litre pots of plagron batmix under a 400w hps using biobizz grow bloom and topmax.

Needless to say the clones didn't work..i got a bit impatient and pulled them out the soil to see if they rooted...Pissed me off a bit coz 3 of them had started to root!

i'll start my journal on sunday morning when i've the time to do it properly and give as much info as i can.
i don't think you should spend all that time and effort growing unknown bagseeds coz you could end up with a load of old crap. i would get the best seeds you can get hold of/afford. i got seeds i couldn't really afford but i'm so so glad i did..

yea i have some good seeds left and im also buying some femmed bubblegum,im just getting my topping tecnique down with these.Hoping to promote 4 colas and keep em low to see how they yeild.they will be ready to flower as soon as my WW is harvested.I cant get a proper grow on the go as i might have to drop it all down anytime soon!..Had a letter off the council saying they are renovating the area for 42weeks and i dont wanna waste the femmed seeds that i have left. 4WW and 5 Afgan xMazar.bagseeds will do for now just to keep my hand in

nosey council cunts! topping is a piece of piss, all i did was let 'em get to about 18 inches then cut the growing tip off but as you know i'm no expert...lol. i've chopped all my jh now i'll let you know the weight when its dry it'll be no where near the ww's but its a lot nicer.
the jh "snotball" was pretty much the best thing i've ever smoked.. seriously. its amazing something like that came from a plant that i grew.
