got sheetrock in my res is it ok

i was cutting holes for electrical outlets and like a dumb as my resivor was on the other side i have a lid on it with a hole in so some sheetrock got in do you think its ok or no i am growing in soil

You'll probably be ok since ur using soil. It all depends how much got in.. I would probably try to get it out with a strainer if u don't want to change res so it doesn't clog ur pump though.

Depends on whats in it. never the less you dont want trace amounts of toxic substances in your bud, so get it out.

I've often wondered what the effect of sheetrock dust would be on the Ph level of a hydro grow. I would think it would be very alkaline, but I don't know that for sure. And I'm way too tired to google it.

i dont know. but my house has formaldehyde in the walls for insulation. Natural anti-fungal. but its wretched on plants and living organisms.
