Outdoor grow in Mass

Its that time of year when i think the frost is finally gone (MASS). I wanted to grow outside but i have no idea what to do with the specifics. I was going to just use bag seeds and maybe order some...not sure. Also i was planning on putting it in a pot, not in the ground because the soil is very sandy. When should i germinate and bring it outside.

I myself used bagseed in Ohio and started on FEB. 25TH!! They took a month to sprout and now are about a month old. I just planted the seeds no germ. I planted 70 bagseed and got 22 plants. They are now about 2- 3 in tall. They are all on their 5 bladed leaves atleast, most on their 2-3rd 7 bladed set. I just planted mine in the ground, thaat way you don't have to water often, pots dry up everyday.....
