germination and transfer

Hi all-
I have been reading this site for a while now and am on my 3rd grow with each getting better. I Do not post much but do appreciate all the great information!!

My question is- The one big problem I have had and do not quite no the resolution for is not killing my freshly germed seeds. I germinate them either on p towels or a sock. I have no issue with that. When Itransfer to my 1 inch rockwool cube and place it in my bubble bucket, only about 1/3 of my seeds survive. I am extremely careful with the seeds when transfering them so I know I am not damaging them during transfer.

What is the proper procedure to transfer them from the germ tray into the cubes and clay ballls for my bubble buckets? How wet should the cubes be? how much light?

ive heard if you touch a germinated seed the oils from ur finger can damage them always use tweezer

Why dont you get a humidity dome and just germ it in rockwool, and just skip the transfering part. I have had a 100% grem rate so far using this method.

Are you presoaking the RW? What kind of venting are you doing with the humidity dome? I see you have a hydro setup, do you place the RW directly into the clay pellets? I plan a very similar setup, and want to get my germination to 100% also

I never had good luck germing in rw. COuld you please go into detail for me?

I presoak the rockwool, and shake out the excess water. I spray the rockwool with the seeds about 2-3 times a day and when i do that it gives it fresh air, but i will be cutting a couple small holes in the dome to vent. I then put it in the system "the clay pellets hold the seed and rockwool securly in place." as soon as i start to see root growth.
Here is a pic of seeds germ.
The 2 on the frount left are blueberry and the 5 mangos are behind and beside the blueberry "istarted thoes 3 days ago". The roll of 3 on the right are just bag seeds started 2 days ago....
