Is this to much light?

what kind of lights are you using? if that's a straight up shop light you might want to trash that idea. i used a couple heat lamps on my first grow, destroyed 10 northern lights. if those are cfls then you should be good for at lease a couple weeks til they get bigger. then you might want to consider something else. is that a suitcase?!?

I take it you dont have a therm? whats the temp/humid?....should be fine but you wanna make sure they are the right spectrum for veg.

haha sweat a suit case, i'd try to get a better setup, but if you insisted then maybe try to get lights closer, maybe more light as they get older, and ya keep an eye on the temp, you want like 75 degrees or so
What can I use then?
Where can I get Mylar or panda film? Another question I have is that I want to know if my plants can be in my room when my airconditioner is on?

You want the temp around 75-85 degrees....and 50% humidity....you need a gague thats how you'll know....you can go to a grow shop or think you can get the panda at the local home depot or lows....maybe check on their websites.

No such thing as too much light, but watch the heat. Put your hand in front of the plant, if the light is hot on your hand, it's too close to the plant. Read the newbie forum, lots of good info there.

get a fan going on it and cut out some cardboard the size of the interior and paint it white if you dont want the foil. But I dont think the foil is going to hurt anything as long as it doesnt get to hot. And save some money for some real lights when they get to about 6-8 inches and like top said read the newbie section as well as all other sections that might be of use because the more you read the better. Yes Exactly the same as me.. I came here thinking ok someone has alot of HID lamp in a small box then I see pictures of 4 cfl bulbs.
Anyways, too much light even with multiple HID lamps is seldom an issue as long as there is proper ventilation. In the case its more like not enough light and aditional light will be required to grow to harvest.
