Is it possible to grow high grade and contain the smell?

Hypothetically speaking, if one were to live in a house with a few good friends... who were trusted and cool with the grow, but would have visitors. Is it possible to keep the smell under control?
Its the only real issue that could let word loose.
Ive been turning ideas over in my head about a cupboard grow... Perhaps start with something already airtight like a fridge, inside a larger cupboard. The fridge would have an air inlet and an air outlet. Both would be tight junctions with carbon filters... probably a considerable length on the vent leaving the outlet...

The ducts would lead to the underside of the cupboard which would be elevated but covered from all sides but the rear...

Maybe im being ridiculous... But my freedom means nearly as much to me as a grow..

Any advice would be much appreciated.

I was thinking that i dont particularly care if it smells inside... surely i could make/ buy a carbon filter that contains the air within a tube... so rather than pushing it outwards it just continues flowing. That way once the air gets outside it should have passed over a larger amount of carbon.

i heard the ozone generator are bad for your health..not all high grade is really smelly..it depends on the strain..but yes ALL bud does have a stench..your best bet is good ventalation..carbon filter and maybe a few extra lil air freshers laying around :)
