To keep it hood you could get a bowl with water and a sponge in the middle...good moisture. Do you have a fan circulating? I bet the white side of that cardboard is more reflective than the aluminum foil..keep it street bro.

put a bowl of water inside for last night...also duct taped one desk box fan to wall so i could point in down inside the box so mostly all plants are gettin some kinda air blown on them hopin i can get my stems stronger...ima leave the tin foil for now will get some mylar soon as some money comes

Mylar is expensive as fuck! I love my tin foil :) You'll never guess what I was suspending my lights with for a while - dental floss. Rofl. We are a creative bunch huh?

haha i was using string before i got the chains...i still do have some string in there tho...ima try and get some new pics today but im feeling hella shitty right now....long night:spew: watchin ku fuckin lose...go MU(missouri if you dont know)!

Day 13 from placing seedlings in pot

so after a lil re-coop from last night and a quick bongsmilie i went and checked on my girls...some lookin very beautiful some lookin a lil like the girls i dated in high school (not that great but fuckable) haha...so ive noticed that about 4 are light green...know that dark green is more healthy so what should i do?...also 2 of the dark green have small yellow leaves on the stem(notice pics)...dont know what that is...havent used any nutes so dont know whats wrong...but anyways heres where we stand on day 13:

you can tell which ones are light green

my ghetto duct taped fan...since goin up have noticed better performance

thats it for now...if anyone can tell me about the light green ones and what i can do also about the small yellow leaves...stay high!

The smaller pod leaves are fine, they turn yellow and die fairly fast. Mostly yer lookin good. Here's wat I wud do if I were you:
Re pot the plants that are sharing a planter now. Re pot using B-1 and pH'ed water (just use bottled water, fer yer water and you'll never go wrong!)
The scrawny 1 that doesnt look good, give it 2 more days, if no improvement, toss it.
As fer the very yellow 1, give it some nutes, they can handle it now. If ya dont have a garden store near ya, then use plant food like a 30-15-15

Looking great mate! Like wherethehellamI said the cotyledons die and fall off pretty fast. Sucks about the yellowish plants. I'de be tempted to give it time. What soil are the yellow ones in?

Is that salt build up? Its a lot for such a small plant. idk tho....

It would be in your water...pH? do you get runoff out of those planters (good drainage)??

Brah, bottled water is so easily found. Use it. Salt build up generally happens from the nutrients that we use. The way to prevent it is by doing a salt flush every 2 weeks. I think all ya have to use is some sort of salt, actually, but I buy Clearex (there are other flushing solutions, tho)

Update

so i started a 18/6 this morning...also now have 16 27w 6500k and 1 65w 2700k for veg....lookin pretty good...think one or two wont make it...gave the girls some names some being : beatrix kiddo, hannah montana, becky buckwild, and the two in one pot are now Lindsay and Sam:lol: (wheres that sex video) haha anyways will update again soon with more pics...thanks everyone for the great advice and helping me with my problems

Things are lookin awesome. Sorry I didnt stop by and check your grow out sooner, dont know wtf I was thinkin, Im tryin to take in all the CFL knowledge I can atm.

get some pics up with that 68w 2700k you added, Im curious to see how it does as a veg light. I bought 3 myself, and am currently using 6 daylight 5500-6500K bulbs and thats it for vegging.

As far as water goes, go to walmart and buy the 88 cents a gallon bottled water, get like 4 gallons of it it will last you a long while. Tap water in certain areas can seriously fug up your plants if the pH is off or the water is to hard.

DEFINATELY subscribing, youre about 2-3 weeks ahead of me so it will be nice to look into the future somewhat by watching your grow.

I noticed in a couple pics the lights were like 6-12 inches off the plants, you know they can be like 1-4 inches from them right> they will stretch if you keep them far away too long. I kept a light like an inch or less from my first sprout and its on its 3rd day of not being moved and still looks great.

i will check out the walmart water for sure thanks man...and the reason the lights are off so high is my cam takes better pics without all that light so for the sake of the picture i move the light then once im done they go right back on top bout an inch or two...i really think they liked the 6 hours of dark im starting to give em...wanna try and flower at 4/20...will get some pics today n post later

U CAN GET SOME MAYLAR WRAPPING PAPER FOR A DOLLAR AROLL AT THE DOLLAR STORE..... will do alot more reflecting then that foil
