haha, i was wondering if i was too high to understand, lol....nah, i don't think i said that, either way, this will definetely not be my last grow!! i'm gonna grow the rest of my life! you know, i bet i said this is the last grow in my current home, cause the lease ends soon after these girls will finish..

exactly jah, i should have said my previous grow, thanks for clearing that up...i think what you meant was that the pictures you posted were of your last grow... not meaning your stopping but the last one you harvested

i've never used airstones before. i usually agitate the tea with a stick but will try the airstone next times. thanx

well hello all, some news,
I am medical, so when the cops came to initially check on some loud noise, and I had no prob showing them my grow. I had mixed feelings and shit but they said they were going to enter and I had to let them. I was just rushing out the door and loaded on morphine and oxy so I said OK, lol, but I gotta warn you that their is a legal mj grow inside. They were young and cool so far, this was 2 days ago, and thanked me a ton for cooperating. They said they beleived my story and I told them about my conditions and they said ok.
My paper work was in order and displayed and they took pics and had me wait outside. They then came back and asked if they could look inside the tent. Would that hurt? Lol. Very polite I thought. I said yes. They siad it looked like it was a lot but I told them that it was only 8 in veg and tried to explain the way it works.
They said it was a good training situation and before I knew it I heard this guy on the radio say something like, "a real medical grow" you should see this. This next set of guys explained they ahd never seen one and would have taken my plants and equipment and arrested me if the first guy had not studied up. This guy was older by far. He wanted a lot of questions and I was more than a little nervous about the whole thing as I heard things can go even for meds in horror stories.
Anyway they left and said they would call, they have yet to call. I hope they dont. I was confident that since I dont sell and have a legal limit I would be ok.
Unfortunatly I forgot about the poppy I bought legal through a catalogue inadvertently got as a mailer. I was like, no shit, a poppy. That is funny. Well this might get me into shit one guy said. I was pissed as it was a gag and I thought harmless as only one. IDK about that.
I also tried to show them my huge outdoor herb garden and they noted that. They tried to joke if I just bought all that grow setup from hi times, i was like "here and there".
So if anyone has any thing I should no about this shit in so cal sd I would like to know. Like I said I got no reasons really to fear but I am still nervous. I wanna throw that poppy out, the cops said to leave it all the same. I got to thin it for flower soon. I hope they were not just waiting for the monday to get the DA or something or cheif to respond. I mean shit that. My life sucks already I am feeling. lol.
I have a nice setup and am loving organic soil. LR2 fianly about to sex. Thinking about doing a BMO, versus pbp line, vs home made teas experiment for kicks.

you should go to your county health dept which im assuming is sd health department or whatever and get your state medical marijuana card thats what i did a week and a half ago and i just have to go pick it up at the oc health department tomorrow or tues and that state card is better then just have a doctors recommendation but hey man i give you props you were really cool and confident and cooperative with the popo and you had all your papers in order thats what u need to do so good job you were a very good example of a mmj patient that grows his own medicine
im apart of this group here but i forgot about you guys so anyways i will start posting here now but check out my current grow in my sig its all organic and outdoor peace

thanks man. When I got my card the doctor I went to was a mmj specialist. They also have a free lawyer already set up. I called him to ask what was up, he told me that it was amazing they did not take my plants, but it has happened. He said sometimes they call again for a follow up, sometimes they let it go. He said he would be ready if they call, and to call him. Pretty good deal. I got a crap load of official documetns to display.
I am confused about the card. This doctor sent me a card with my pic. That might be like a prop? idk but it has my patient number and I have my 215 papers and the health and safety code listed. I have to check on your bit. I hope so. Ya try to get it all squared away, but so far the best is still confusing and when it comes to cops, be polite as hell. That is what got me to stay free with my plants.
So I ok so far. It takes the stress outa power use. I can turn on the heat now lol.
dealing with fruit flies in my homemade worm bin. I put an 18 gallon on a three gallon. The drilled holes in the bottom of the 18 gallon and placed 3 dollar peices of expanded sheet metal from home depot over it. Then some newspaper strips on the surface of the fill. It is kitchen waist mixed with soil. I water it with raised bed garden run off. That is al organic and teeming with microbes. Hell it brews in the collection barrell.

yeah, fruit flies are called vinegar flies and they infest fast. But a cup of vinegar will catch them quick. Also I am using neem oil with some garlic and soap

I am ok. I am about to enter flower on 4 LR2 and then head to three trees at a time in 7 gallons under whatever wattage it takes. BMO. Maybe do a comparison, space is my issue. This widow cindy is huge, hardy girl.

hey im a first time grower well i haven't started yet. i plan on building a mother/veg tent in my laundry room and i have a
2w x 5l x 8h closet i will use for flowering about 4-6 plants. i want to use organic soil and nutes. i will clone and veg with flo's and cfls. ok now to my questions. I need to know what organic nutes are good and how you would recommend to use them. also would i have better yields in that space with a 400w hps or a 600w? i want a balance between yield and the cost of the electric bill. umm good cloning solution, leeching, really a basic run down on everything i will need. i want to know as much as possible before i start. im not somone who likes to waste what little cash i have so i try to get it right the first time. thanks for any help!

hey luvdabud....
I could sit and guide you through every single aspect of your grow room, but i think it would be a waste of our time...
Im gonna copy paste 2 articles i wrote about organic ferts.... so you can have a little bit more of an idea as to what you could and want to use..... On the other hand, if you want to optimize your yield a bit part of the job will be done by the light... so in my opinion your better off with a 600 watt hps rather than a 400 watt hps... the only inconvenient with the 600 is that is gives off alot of heat so if height is an issue (which i dont think is in your case) youd be better off with a 400 .... what you could do with your 600 watt is use a cool tube instead of a reflector ( it is not always better) but it will keep the temp of the 600 watt from going too high.... another little info for you is here in europe the reflector that goes by the name "diamond" and has a diamond like shape is THE #1 sold reflector .... So if you wanna invest a little more for details ... try it out...
Now about leeching... correct me if im wrong but i believe your talking bout flushing... The time when your gonna give your plants only water to get rid of anything left in the soil...... If i were you i wouldnt use anything in the water at that time... and if you can get yourself some demineralised water and even better demineralized oxygenated water... just for the flush....
there are ways to organically promote cuttings (clones) to root.... But i have always worked with clonex, I bought one pot of it 3 years ago and still got it today .... and its still half full..... Works miracles... its not organic from what i understand but seen as the cutting has not roots it cant uptake anything harmfull to you yet... so there you go i hope this helped a little.. i know its alot of reading but Read on its always good to read and find out more about your passion or my passion *growing*
