brown tips on clones

The bottom tips of my clones have all turned brown after a few days. Is this normal? they're in bubbleponics hanging about 1 inch above the water, I used bottled water with a tiny bit of superthrive.

Could it be a result of the superthrive? I only used a few drops to a gallon, or could it be infection? should I resterilize everything and recut them all?

that is probably just the start of the callus forming the roots will grow out of it, the stem sort or contacts at the tip where u cut,goes brown,then roots come.Dunno about he superthrive tho,might be a bit harsh on them, they shouldnt need anything til they have some roots as they use the energy stored in the feeder leaves to make the new roots, the feeders will begin to yellow a bit,thats normal also,they often fall off after a few weeks. if you absolutely feel the need to nute em,use a verry diluted mix and mist it on to the leaves

Superthrive is very very potent, you have to be careful with it. I only put a tiny drop just to be safe.
