Can a plant get rootbound...

have you tried this vs a bigger container randy? more soil's gotta produce a better plant w/bigger buds

i've always heard 1 gal per month alive

your best bet is to plant it in a bigger pot first so u dont have to transplant it cuz if u wait too long transplanting that will make it rootbound

alright well first of all im gonna say that somewhere i read that if your plant does get rootbound then you could use a knife and cut about 3 slits or so around the base of the stem downwards into the soil so it kinda splits/cuts up some of the roots. they said it would allow it to start growing again from where they were cut out into the soil again instead of going in circles in a clump of roots lol. i do not know if thats true but i have tried it on one of mine that seemed to stop growing taller so rapidly im gonna see if it helps. but heres a question from me is it ok for the plant to just be planted in a bigger pot and just let it grow from that until its done without transplanting?

i said look at the post that i put up b4 (the one about 4 replies b4 your post) and youll have your answer, its best to start them off in big containers cuz the roots will grow faster if they have more area to go to and bigger root system=bigger plants, if u plant in little containers and transplant em when they get to big for the pot more than once your root system will suck
