need some 250w hps info

i was thinking bout getting a 250w hps and i was woundering how many plants can i grow with a 250w and get a alright yeild frome each plant:bigjoint:

well that depends what you consider an allright weight.....many say that the rule of thumb is .5g/ watt is ok....1g/watt is ecellent...so yeah doesnt really matter how many plant you have i guess...depens on the veg time

i want to atleast grow 4 ounces how many plants would i need and to veg for? shortest time is wat im lookin for

you can grow four ounces easy with a 250. you can ft 4 huge plants under there nicely veg for 8 weeks and then flower you will get more like 6-8 ounces then 4 with a good strain and nutes. plus with a 250 and a good fan you can get the light to 4 inches above your plants with no cooltube just a good fan.

yeah i also got a 250 watt hps im thinking about a 400 watter for the future. still a 250 is not bad 28, 500 lumens, dont burn too hot, decent yields and bud density on the colas atleast but it doesnt penatrate threw thick foliage like a bigger bulb would

Mite Aswell Do 4 Plants veg for bout 3 months then flower ... you will be very pleased..and you can vary strains :)

I have 1 plant (more like a tree) under a 250 hps, and will be harvesting very soon. I am expecting 3 or 4 ounzes by the look of it. By the way this is my first grow. :bigjoint:

[thanks for so many replies and i was paning on growing 6 plants under a 250w but then again i was thinking a 400w how much more heat will a 400w put out then a 250w , and if i do go with the 250w how much yeild will i get frome each plant if i veg for a mounth

good luck on your frst grow , this is my second but i did my 1st with cfls , how much yeild you think your going to get from them 3 plants your flowering :leaf:

ok i decided to go witht he 400w hps :bigjoint: and i still need answers to my other questions but just ignor all the 250w and change it with 400w lol:lol:
