When you trensplant to a larger container, bury the plant up to the first set of leaves.

well at night my light is a foot above the plants and during the day i keep them in direct sunlight then pop them under the light when the sun goes down

u should lower your light some more it's stretched....

how short should it be? cuse i figure it would be taller than it is now.
i have a grow partner and his must be stretched cause his are double the height of mine and we started relitively the same time

if that's cfl lighting i would get them closer to the plant 4" to 6"away, this will keep it from stretching.
