it shows you have been studying your herbage due to the fact that your flowering plants have warm whites and your vegetative ones look like they have full spectrum
Thanks - Definately did a bit or reading - most which read, "DONT USE CFLS!". But I got alot of useful info and it seems to be paying off. The vegbox is all 'daylight' lights and the grow closet is mostly 'warm' with a couple 5500k thrown in for a fuller spectrum.it shows you have been studying your herbage due to the fact that your flowering plants have warm whites and your vegetative ones look like they have full spectrum
Thanks for the comments! My venting situation is alil funny. The closet is a 2 part closet with sliding doors - I use 1/4 of it which I do not have sealed off from the rest except for a few pieces of aluminum foil. For the first few weeks I didn't have any fans or anything and the closet vented fine - most of the hot air just traveled up and away from the plants and i often left the closet door cracked. Once the plants got bigger and I added more lights I stuck a fan in the corner which seems to circluate the air within the closet fairly well. So not sure how helpful this is if you have a sealed enclosure. Perhaps make a DIY carbon filter and add two computer fans one sucking and one blowing. Heres a few pics that might help:Well done! these plants look great... Great pics and journal too. Im growing in a small space too and having great trouble with reducing temps. How do u vent your grow? Having that many lights in there must really heat it up
Thanks! I contribute this grows luck to you guy's support.beautiful!!!!
Thanks for the reply and tips! I already have 1 fan for circulation and 1 for exhaust. Problem is the exhaust is a 2cm (about 1 inch) in diameter for stealth. I tried many different methods to vent with such a small hole properly but the results were not nearly acceptable. I think im gonna drill a bigger hole in the box tomorrow... Good luck with your grow, ill be watching this! Thanks - Definately did a bit or reading - most which read, "DONT USE CFLS!". But I got alot of useful info and it seems to be paying off. Welcome to the site! I'm a bit new myself. Honored to have your first post! To start your own thread click the forum button in the top left and then navigate to the section you want to put it in and click the 'new thread button'- i would reccomend the CFL section under indoor growing or the grow journal section (probably where I should have posted mine). If you ever need a quick answer post in the newbie section - great guys are always checking that to help - mygirls is very knowledgable and always seems to answer my questions right as I post them.hey whats goin on man...im new to this site and this whole thing...jus started my own cfl grow and was lookin for advice and help through out this wonderful experience...cant seem to figure out how to like start my own post or journal...i would like to put some pics of my setup up and see what advice you have...like nutes i should use...im using a shity soil miracle grow organic cause i couldnt find any fox farm...i would like to grow all organic as far as nutes and what not...anyways hit me back
Beginners luck and lots of love. I think my plants did well because I followed the look but dont touch rule. I've killed every sprout i've had before these from over watering and nutes. Leave em be and let em do the rest And then add lots of molasses at the end of courselookin freakin sweet man hope i can get mine to look that good
How long you planning on keeping them in the dark - curious to see how it effects them. Lemme know when the pics are up!I will try and get some pics up soon.....So far I germinated .... Got 4 in mg soil and 6 in reg soil.I put 7 full light and 3 total darkness. Trying to see whats the difference and wich will work better.
Thanks! They just keep getting prettier and prettier. Like I just wrote to baked - Lots of love and not too much pestering and I'm sure you'll have similar results.Nice Plants.. I have the similar set up, hope mine turn out like yours.... #1
Yeah - that plant is a nutso. It's clones all have 3 fan leaves/shoots per node. Crazy genes - kinda wanna breed em. I'll make more pictures of the monster in a few days. The polyploid bud is unfortunately one of the smallest and so is the double. I should have thinned her out so they would have recieved more attention. Oh well.love the planting out doors thing, mr. mjseed... also like your whole grow.
how are the even #ed leaf plants doing? i've never heard of such a thing... been drawing pot leaves on shit my whole life and ALWAYS used 5 7 or 9... iv'e had the multi-bud thing myself, makes for a cool show off to my friends...
congrats and good luck if you do make the move with your buddy. seems like ya'll will have many happy returns if you get the 10 x 10 room.
Thanks KB! Glad I'm inspiring people. I started this grow after a dream I had of converting a pet cage stand into a tiny grow box. I was going to get em started then give them all away or scatter outside - I really never imagined CFLs could be used the entire way. Luckily I was looking for pictures online of dwarf plants and fell on RIU. Have to give credit to the members here for inspiring me to go through with it - glad I'm contributing back.High Tanker
Caught this post at like 5am the other night and had to subscribe, Im only sad that I wasnt with it from the beginning.
I will be starting my closet renovation this weekend for my grow. I have a 30" deep X 30" wide X 70" tall space to work with for flowering, and about that same size for a veg/clone room.
I live in a house with my wife and the grow will be in one of our bedroom closets so im not TERRIBLY worried about smell, but just a lil lol.
5 out of 5 of my seeds have split, and 3 had decent tap roots this morning. I will start a thread and throw some pics up of the empty closet tonight or tomorrow.
Your plants are an inspiration to me man, I am using practically the same lights you are and in the same manner. Keep em strong and give em some love from me, look forward to following this till the end.

Are you sure about this? If it is true i WANT some of my plants light stressed!.... lol jkFound another branch on my favorite plant with pollen sacs. Caught them too late also Cut the branch off and will do a quick cure - interested to see how it smokes now. Definately going to have a couple seeds on this plant. One perk of this though is that I am going to have a buncha fem seeds Right? From what I hear the plant produced just a few nuts late on most likely due to light stress which means the pollen is XX and will produce fem seeds polinated a lower branch of another plant and see that it's taken. Would be kinda nice to have a small stash of fem seeds to work with.
