also, with only two plants, you should look into the screen of green technique (see faq)

Your not gonna get as good of a lumen output as the more expensive bulbs, but for the price and your purposes it'll be fine.

I use the Sylvania bulbs and they are fine for $22.00. At that price I can replace every 6 months if I wish. I had my guy at the hydro store try to explain to me why I should pay $60.00 more for 5,000 more lumens (hortilux). I like the Sylvania.

why can't you just double up on those lights for more lumens? I was at lowe's the otherday too and i seen they have 400 hps by sylvania or what ever.. for 26 bucks.. i would get 4 for that price and still change them every 6 months.

The light that ya are referring to IS sylvania, and it is the complete WRONG light spectrum fer growing

Ya need to give a clone @ least 2 weeeks to establish a new root system b4 flowering, and thats w/an already established clone

yes... u gonna see good results with the MH/HPS

You need a ballast, a light receptacle, and a hood. The MH is generally a conversion bulb, then ya replace that w/HPS.
Or, just go CFL the whole way
