I don't see how, my theromstat isn't digital, it's an old style round dial type. It's not connected to the electric meter, it's connected to the furnace which is connected to the fuse box which is connected to the electric meter.

If they want to spy on me like that, I'm gonna need a bailout for an upgrade.
