Lol, This has basicly turned into the "big up the tude" thread, although to be honest I have only heard good things.

let me make an example, let's say I buy a car (new) and 6 months later I sell you this car (no warranty or guarantees) and 3 miles down the road it takes a shit on you, are you going to complain to the maker of the car???? No, you're gonna go to the person who sold you that car. am I right?

As a former co-owner of a car dealership please allow me to field this one.

Did you notice where you wrote; "no warranties, no guaranties?" Well when you do that you willingly accept anything and everything that may follow, either good or bad. No one forced you to purchase a car without a warranty or a guarantee, that was your conscious choice.

A car dealership or a used car lot is not responsible for anything once the rear bumper crosses the curb on its way out of the dealership or used car lot if the customer willingly chose to purchase a vehicle without any warranty or guarantee.

When we sold a vehicle without a warranty or guarantee, which was very rare, the customer had to sign a form stating that they know the vehicle does not have any warranty or guarantee of any type and that they fully accept that.

Still if they then had a problem they would come back crying like a little girl with a skinned knee.

But who holds full responsibility in such a case? The buyer and the buyer alone.

When dealing with a used vehicle it is not as if a dealership or used car lot can and will tear down the engine and transmission and rear end or transaxle and fully inspect them and then certify the vehicle to be in good condition. They can only test drive it when the car is traded in and in the case of cars purchased at auction the most they can do is start them while they are on the lot previous to the auction beginning and judge strictly by how it starts and how it runs. If a vehicle is higher mileage and does not appear to be in the best operating condition a dealer or used car lot will not give a warranty or guarantee with the vehicle and if someone then make the choice to purchase said vehicle then they had better keep in mind the saying caveat emptor, let the buyer beware, and if they still chose to make the purchase they have then agreed to accept full responsibility for anything the future may bring in regards to said vehicle.

Brick your exactly right. The attitude also claims that the Breeders seed are sold to other companies after 60 days. If true or not, I don't see why they would lie, Then that means other some not all banks are selling older stock. They have a huge selection of multiple breeders product and when something goes wrong it's really not there fault. But this kind of bashing just seems like a marketing ploy to make a good dealer bad,,,Fucking politics,,,ohhhuh I mean bussiness as usual.

Your wrong if you bought a NEW car with a warranty it is transfered over to the NEW owner so you have to deal with the manufacture!

That is very close to being correct. If someone purchases a USED car that still has remaining factory warranty and or purchases an extended service contract then the customer has every right to come back to the dealership and the dealership then either repairs the vehicle for the factory and is then paid for the repairs by the factory or they repair the vehicle and then are paid by the company whose extended service contract covered the vehicle.

If no coverage exists and the customer purchased the vehicle knowing that there was no coverage of any kind the responsibility for any and all repairs are that of the vehicle’s owner, the customer, and not the dealership or used car lot.

Well I guess there are a lot of ignorant people, But me if I were to buy a USED 6 month old car,,,,Not cheap, or stolen,,There would be the manufacters warranty involved, If not you take your chances. But like I said there are a lot of ignorance today:peace:

thats true the same as if a fault on a car e.g the air bag goes off on X amount of cars because the door is shut to hard the factory has to call all the models that use that air bag system no matter who bought the car even if its been sold 30x down the road. happend to me with a 7 year old BMW not the air bag it was somthing else i cant remmber what it was now it wa a long time ago and thought nothing of it and just let it go after all the car was fine 7 years old and the BMW sales were 100s of miles away.

LOL i dont know what this as to do with seeds? just thought id chip in:mrgreen:

This accusation sounds fishy, it looks as if the op just registered with this sight to bash attitude. I have never had any probs with them, next time buy in small amounts, there's a possibility it will get eyed by customs.
