Tatan´s First Grow, White Widow and Bagseed

looking sweet mate that mystery plants still got a week of growing tall befor she starts fattening the buds up, Have you got tiny buds on it yet?

No... no tiny buds yet,.. just pistils along the nodes.. I´m really excited about this plant its nice and round and its starting to look like mammath´s plant a little .

Its been growing about an inch a day which is pretty cool since I got the space.

What I´m worried about is one tiny little speck looks like its going to turn into a male flower. The plant has pistils along the nodes, but one looks suspicious. If I do get a hermy, can i just take out the male flowers, or will the plant lose its potency ?

I´m not sure this thing will turn into a male flower, guess im paranoid, cause its such a nice plant.

Keep an eye on it. If it throws out a bunch of bananas be sure to pull them off the plant before they open.
MJ is a weed and many will have at go at fertilising themselves. Often they will just throw out the odd male flower and that's it.

Good, cause I´m really hyped about the mystery plant its looking really awesome and would hate to have lost it due to 1 male flower.. anyway, its still too early to tell and I was probably just being paranoid...

UPDATE:
VEG CLOSET DAY 31.

Took out the taller White Widow and put her to flower, so now its the bushy White Widow and the Mazar. The Mazar keeps getting better so I´m sure it will be fine. I´m planning on putting the bushy white widow to flower maybe in a week. I´ll wait a while longer for the Mazar since its smaller.

I just moved the taller white widow here, mainly cause it was getting on my nerves. Anyway it´s amazing how much the mystery plant has grown, it has been growing over an inch a day for the last couple of days. When I put her in flower it was 9 inches tall, now its at 25 inches. Its almost as tall as the bagseed plant now.

And here is a closeup of the bagseed plant on day 45. A lot of its pistils were starting to turn brown, but for the past few days there has been a new wave of pistils coming out.

Where did the Tall widow go again?

Keep those candles close like you have it on them in the pics on the Mazar and the other W. That's good. They look great.

The mystery plant is stretching, that's for sure.
The internode gap is huge, but that can be strain related and 'candle' related.
Next grow you are going to get some serious lighting pumping aren't you?

I put the tall White Widow into the flower closet, but you can´t see it in the picture cause its not tall enough.

Yeah.. I try to keep the lights as close as I can to the plants. I know I´m only using CFL, but one advantage they have is that since they arent too hot, I try to get them about 2 inches away from the plants. As a matter of fact I have more bulbs, but I have almost every area of every plant covered by some bulb a few inches away. I´m also using 42W CFL 2700k for flower (26w, 6500k for veg). But yeah I noticed that the mystery plant has been stretching a ton. I was kind oh happy about that, thinking that I was going to get big buds, since I think I was plenty of light, but you might be right, since the space between some of the nodes is rather large. The thing is that it has been growing so fast almost 2 inches a day lately, and the nodes already have new branches coming out. Also I´m thinking the stretching will stop soon cause a lot of pistils are starting to form everywhere.

Right now the lights are off in the flower closet but ill get some pics as soon as the lights come on. Thanks for stopping by Mammath

Hey man, your looking great! I have a suggestion though...I like that crazy lamp with the four bulbs sticking out forming an X. I'm not sure if you always leave it the way it's arranged in the pic, but you would get a TON more light if you stuck that sucker between your two flowering plants. From the pic, only half of the bulbs in the lamp are facing towards the plants, while the other half emit the same amount of light back into the closet...just turn that thing sideways and stick it between the two plants somehow (I see its on books, so maneuvering this won't be easy, but you would get way more light!)

Just a thought...looks good though man! Keep it up!

Yeah Jerry, I agree with you...
The thing is that the mystery plant has about tripled in size in the past week. One of the good things about CFL is that you can get them really close to the plants without burning them. I´ve had to adjust the bulbs daily as that plant grows. But you were right, and I just made the changes you suggested. Tommorow ill post pics, showing closer shots of the buds Mammath wanted to see and also a pic of the new flower room layout.

I agree with Mr Bitti, another couple of weeks at least. She's having another spurt of growth which is good. That main cola is going to look fantastic in a another 10 - 14 days. Watch the nutes with her because she's right on the cusp of running to hot, (nute wise), from what I can see. It will be fine just don't increase the nute mix any more.
How many days has the mystery plant been in 12/12?

Mammath, the mystery plant has been in the flower closet for 16 days. It is amazing. it is now the same height as the bagseed plant, at 28 inches, and the nodes are all stating to sprout new little buds...This is my first real plant and im happy its growing so much

I´d like some advice, input about my next grow... I´m tinking about ordering this...

Green House indica mix 5 fem seeds.
great white shark
lemon skunk
white rhino
train wreck
cheese

Also im getting a fem seed of big buddha cheese

And a seed of barneys blue cheese.


With the order i also get for free 5 g13 labs thai super skunk regular seeds and a fem gigabud seed. I plan on also growing the freebies.

Anything about the potency ? are they good strains to grow ?
