I went to go look at the ladies and to change the water, and.. boy have they grown, they drank up about a gallon of water maybe even more.
Should I expect them to stop growing? An INDICA will never get over 5 feet tall, and they average 36 to 42 inches in height, from seed to Harvest. Sativas NEVER quit growing.
When should I start seeing signs of budding and what might those very beginning signs be?
You have to put them on a Timer, with 12/12 Lights to start the Flowering Cycle. They will not start to think about Flowering, until they are getting as much DARKNESS as they do LIGHT. Then 7 days to 14 days later, you will see pre-flowers.
they have gotten quite larger than we had expected, how can you control that? by lighting? By starting the Flowering Cycle Early, instead of at Maturity. Pot is an adult at 5 weeks in HYDRO under 24/7 light. Most growers with plenty of HEIGHT space, wait until 5 weeks to start the 12/12 Flowering Cycle. IF you want a SOG, (short plants, less yield, less buds, but a faster grow and faster harvest) then you start 12/12 at 2, 3 or 4 weeks..
I'm thinking that here within a week or so we should start seeing a change of somesort
Within 7 to 14 days, you'll see pre-flowers.
After the plants have budded, do I just cut off the stems and then switch to grow with 24/7 lighting again? will that work or are they done for after the harvest?
They call it Re-Vegging.
These are 4 Female PPP plants
Thanks for looking
I'll keep things updated
