Why are my plant leaves turning upward?

I am just starting this plant as my own to grow outdoors. I have a fluorescent light bulb running almost 24/24 and a fan blowing for about the same time.
Sorry about no pics, I don't have a decent camera.
Possible Problem: The leafs are curling upwards on the edges but there is no discoloration.

Any info is greatly appreciated.

Usually when a plants leaves are curling up along the sides its a water shortage and its trying to "catch" more rain, it could also be heat stress though. The link above is the the diagnosing plant problems page for RIU.
