OH shit! my timer turned on an hour earlly today meaning my plants only got 11 hours of dark!!! they are almost half way through flowering, will this be a problem?

do nothing but fix the timer. your plants will be fine. one lost hour of sleep won't make any differance in your final harvest.

does anybody think giving a plant 24hours of darkness is bad after you've been flowering for a few weeks? i was thinking about trying it cuz i heard good shit from a boy of mine who grows

never heard of that, probably b.s.
24 hours of dark doesnt occur in nature.

lol it was my fault it turned on early. Its is an analogue timer and i nudged it turning the PC on. Its just lucky that it was precisely an hour so the pattern can just start tomorow an hour early, cant it? Its a blessing in disguise really as its getting light early now and i was paranoid 'bout some shining through on my grow!

Now I have heard of 24 hours of dark when you go from 18/6 to 12/12. I have never done it so I don't know if it does anything.

yes or today could be 13 hours if you need to keep the time to fit you life.

WOW some of u guys r hard headed as f%@* if u really think about it its not sunny every day out side not completely dark but it could be cloudy out for a week straight and plants dont die...

they wont die, but they wont grow very much.

about getting bigger buds bongsmilie i heard its fine and my friend thinks it helps to give them four 24dark periods through his whole grow one before 12/12 two during flowering and 24hours of dark b4 harvest
start with good genetics and grow them properly and you won't need any magic tricks for big buds. :bigjoint:bongsmilie
