should i change my lights from 12-12 to 14-10?

No, you can't do that. Marijuana plants require 12 hours of uninterrupted darkness everyday in order to maintain the flowering cycle. If you change your light schedule to 14/10, your plants will cease flowering and revert back to the vegetative growth phase. Plus, the stress you will put them through by interrupting the flowering cycle and reverting back to the veg. phase will slow growth down to a crawl, and could lead to the development of hermaphroditic flowers. Stick with the 12/12 schedule... it's the only way to do it.

first off plants need a minimum of 10-12 hours of darkness look up the plant hormone florigen every 2-3 weeks you should be setting back the number of hours you have the light on, not turning it on more. this is because setting back the number of hours you have the light on represent the light decline in the winter. plants only grow buds when the light is off. if anything you'd be fuckin up your plants more then they already are

I agree with GOTOT ... it is not exactly 12 ! even you can force your plant to flower with 8/16 and then put the light back on12/12 or 14/10 for higher yield .14/10 will take longer ... if you dont care about the time,Do it . I usually use 24/0 for clones and 16/8 - 14/10 - 12/12 - 10/8 - 8/16 for flowering . You should just use 8/16 for the last week to force your plant to maximise the THC . I start 16/8 one week before flowering and slightly decrease it (like nature) ... You can increase the yield and potency up to 15% with this method .

Hey with my plant i have the hours of 16 on 8 off and it has reached just about 20'', i really want to see my first plant produce buds what is the ideal length of a plant to change the hours of 12 on 12 but i am also just looking to yeild about 10-20G not to much im just looking for the experience so i can continue lader down the road

the ideal hieght is however much space you have, the plant will stretch during flowering about twice a big so use your judgement. sound like you should look into lollipopping

Yeah ok i looked into it and and i decided to take lollupopping up so just alil bit ago i went into my grow room and trimmed the bottom leafs. i think ill change my lighting hour into the harvest stage in the next week or so.
