That is INTENSE digging. I just dug a hole 6 ft by 6 ft and 1 1/2 foot deep. Took about 12 hours of work over a week especially in hard soil due to freezing weather. Waitin for the summer

ima just look for spots with some good soil lol. thats to many holes to dig. ill dig in about 1 foot mix in some perlite warm castings and potting soil. anything else i should add?

can any one give me a good soil mix for outdoors so i wont have to feed much. i found a area with some good soil i just wanna mix with.

Why would you do that? I have never heard of that method....Honestly I find that plants grow better when planted directly into the ground(no soil mixing) just dig and plant, whenever I put soil in they tend to get dug-up by animals..

I always seem to have the same problem? I have to check my plants everyday the first 2 weeks when they're really young just in case the racoons and skunks dig the plants up.

lol i hope i get a reply. i wanna get started digging soon..its gonns rain soon, should i dig them befor it rains or after? any benefits?

if it's -


catfish, use 2 ounces per cubic foot

salmon, use 4 ounces per cubic foot

large mouth bass - 3.6 ounces

minnows - 7 ounces

If i dig hole with a post hole digger will that be wide enough? Mad deep.. not so wide.. how would that work?

you want some oxy down there...and drainage....those are some deep holes you guys dig, i know they like to root downwards ..but sheotte! might consider renting a post hole digger...auger.
