do you eat all these chillis?
they arent done yet, gonna roast them and see what i can make.... same with the bc peppers.....

Lookin good Weedman.
thanks miss !
ill post up some pics later of all the new seeds i got and started.

it was nice yesterday so i went out side and picked a spot where i want my garden to go... started loosening up the soil some and got a bunch of earth worms(im gonna make a small compost bin)

i have to measure the garden size.... i think its gonna be something like 15x 30'
maybe get a 4' plastic fence to go around it..... gotta rent a rototiller within the next 2 weeks.
its gonna be my first veggie patch (by my self)
i helped my stepdad make one years ago .... we only planted there for a couple years or so ..... and NEVER tried to start seeds before planting
so i am hoping my garden will be awesome !

Wow you two have a lot of seeds ! I haven't bought all mine yet, I buy a few packs per week.

Weedman, don't plant your baby's breath all at once, plant a little every 2 weeks, then when it starts to bloom as the first ones die off, the second planting will bloom etc.

Also plant the onions near the lettuce for rabbit defense.

Florida, if you have rose bushes, plant your chives at the base of them to help prevent black spot.

If you plant some Sage with your Rosemary they will benefit each other but keep the Sage away from the onions.

Yesterday was a beautiful day here and today will be too. My veggies went out and got some real sun yesterday and they will today too. They seemed so happy.

i bought lemon basil, sweet basil, rosemary, cilantro, sweet corn, and a mix of 5 hot peppers. the pepper mix was literally mixed together and pepper seeds look VERY similar, i was stoned last night trying to put little pepper seeds into little piles.

due to space issues ive decided to germ my pepper seeds with the paper towel method instead of just planting them. i also started some more green peppers as none have sprouted. i started a 2' jiffy pot of each of my new spices.

there hasnt been a veggie garden in my yard in years so there was literally 4-5 years worth of yard debris piled on my garden. 3 feet deep in some spots! yesterday i pulled everything off the raised bed and into the yard only to find that in years past my father robbed all my dirt for other yard projects! i burned a good portion but most will need to sit out and dry for several days.

Do you have a township landscape dump? Most of those places let you have compost, mulch and dirt for free.

The one here has a huge compost mountain and I called the city and asked if people were allowed to take some and she said "take as much as you want"......guess she didn't know who she was talking to. :bigjoint:

Check that out, it's worth a shot.

actually my girls mom gave them all to me cause she knows i like to grow stuff.

yep currently unemployed.. right now its getting hard to find a job in miami.

Call city hall and ask them if there is a place to get rid of landscape waste. Then go check it out, if there's compost and stuff there, call back and ask if you can take some.
