So currently I am growing a plant about 2 weeks old in soil, but browsing the internet i heard a lot about hydroponic systems so i decided i want to have one started soon. Does anyone know of a system i can buy that was successful for them with easy maintenance and the common problems people face with hydro growing? (Looking for 4, 5, or 6 plant hydro systems.)

Why I'm still up at this hour is beyond me, but to answer your question here you go.

Personally, I can't think of an easier hydroponic system to use than an ebb and flow table utilizing progressively larger rockwool cubes, and depending on how large you want the plants to get, at the very least a 400W light or even better, a 600 or 1000. Just remember, the more powerful the light, the higher the temperature will rise. 600W halide with hps conversion bulb would probably be pretty close to ideal without getting too complicated IMO.

start with an aerogarden than move up to ebb flow.

I'm on my 1st grow..3 bubblegum clones growing madd, just gone to 12/12, in a 10 gal. rez with grow rocks on top, to cover roots. Simple flood and drain system. It seems really simple, maybe not easy, at first, but easy to learn. I flood 4 times a day, 15 min. each, GH Flora nutes 1500 ppm, Ph @5.5-6.2, in a grow hut, 400 watt MH/HPS ..hydro 's the way to go!!!!!:-?
