Dr120 First Real Grow. Lots of Question.

Hi there, i need some advise from some experience growers. i am starting a new grow. a real first time grow. my setup is a dr120 and right now i am useing 4 42 watt cfl lights, fox farm ocean forest soil, growing greenhouse seeds white widow, big bang, el nino, cheese, and, himalaian gold. i plan on getting my 400w light in a week or a week in a half. my questions are...

1. Would advance nutrients iguana bloom and grow be good to use cause that is what i have.

2. Is it a good idea to get Voodo Juice and Sweet Leaf to held bring out flavor and yeilds?

3. what height should i let them veg to? i was guessing 2 ft.

here is a pic of the seeds and what they look like today. and the setup. the one in the top right is big band, bottom right is w.w. and cheese is the top left.
am i doing okay?

Not familair with the nutes u specified.... They look good, considering ur using what looks to be soft white cfl's for vegging, u want DAYLIGHT 6500k to veg with.... ok on to the veg height- plan on ur plants at least doubling or even tripling in size during flowering. DON'T RUN OUT OF SPACE. So if u flower them at 2' tall, they will get anywhere from 4-6' tall by the time they're finished!

So walked in my room today and relies that my big bang seed is real droopy. i dont understand why because i watered it yesterday. my temp is around 73-80 and my humidaty is between 37% and 50%. please will some one tell me what is up because the leave are sure as hell aint. here is some pictures of today. compare big bang to the white widow and the cheese. my ph was 6 to 6.5

NO topping until 4-5 nodes in height! Check out the faq, it's got a bunch of stuff on FIMMING(similair to topping but u get more colas like ur wantin.) and LST. Both will help u get more out of ur plants if done right.

LOL... No worries yet man, u just overwatered the plant. small plants don't need very much water at all really, and when heavily watered will droop. Just lay off the water for a while and it should perk back up. Don't water until u can pick up ur cup or pot and it feels empty.

yeah. i put 5 on the bottom of of all. the thing about watering, the soil was really dry when i watered it. also, my plants are really short and the fourth set of leaves are all ready coming in. my plans are only a week or a week in a half old. do you think my babies are still a little young.

I'd wait till the plants are bigger and stronger to top them, another week or two. Plants don't handle stress as well when they're small as they do once they're a bit more developed.

So today was a beautiful day, sunny, hardly any clouds. so i decided to give my babies some good old mother nature sunlight. so take a look and tell me what you think. i still need some advise on my nutrient question. also if any can tell me what is wrong with the little plant. its been like that for a week or a week in a half. so i cut off the little leaf that was folding over the whole plant. other than that. i am so excited about my babies. btw, i was thing about getting a mp3 and playing some beethoven, mozart, bob marley, in my room. is that a good idea.

Spend the extra clams and invest in a 6oo watt hps/1ooow {pref digital}
I just ran a 1k bulb in my dr12o with 8 plants/no hood in 18 gal soil bins,did ok.
6oo will work and you can find them cheap used online.
I might do a few buble buckets in there next well see
as im still in planning stage,but easy is my style

well i am getting a 400w in a couple days. dig. ballast. i also have a ecopower grower, but i am nervous about using hydroponics. its a drip feed, and i am not certain about the nutrients. i just have iguana juice grow and bloom. i think a 400w will still give me good yields. plus i can keep the light closer to the plants. i am going to run a wind-tunnel fan threw the light to keep it cool as well. we will see. what strains are you growing or have grow Mr. Headbandrocker

If you use shelfs you will do ok w a 4oo hung with no reflector in middle of shelfs.I hve Platniumogkush,hindukush,og/sourdxBubbakush,chemdawgxog/sour,and a green crack x speed queen hybrid,but have ran hindukushxskunk,chemdouble d,bigbud,grandaddy purple,hasplant and a shiva.
You will easily double yield going vert,if you do it right and you can do soil,or soil on oneside of the tent and make a bubble bucket on the other and compare them.Good luck

oh yes play them classical,i did for my 1st try,i had huge 18'' colas all over the place
If you like you can even leave the tiny buds at the bottom when you harvest 98% of the upper,cut her down to a lil bonzi,trim rootball and reveg her under 24 hr foro{or hid}for a few weeks she will start bushin out again! take a few clones and you can flip flop the two sets
You can reharvest the same plant for many years and the bud will be identical in terms of quality,all with out ever killing the plant just taking what you need and this could be perpetual.Cheers

wow. did not know that, thanks. i might do that bucket system. i just dont know which one to use. the widow, big bang, cheese. i really want more flavor over anything, but still want lots of crystals

Okay growers. i really need some advise. i dont know if i should keep my plants in a pot or if i should put them in my hydro system. i just dont know if i can keep the water cool cause i live down south were its blazing hot. any suggestion from any one.

f0reez bottles of water and throw em in your buckets if heat is a issue,it will only get 8o degrees i there {all closed up}with that 4oo.Intake/exaust and you bee good.

alright guys, heres the update. yestarday i gave them regular ph water, and today i saw some new growth and i gave them some sunlight for 3 hours being that i was at work. i have water with nutrients in it and am thinking of starting to feed them 1/2 strength. i am thinking of doing it like this.
1/2 stength watering
1/2 stength watering
regular
and repeat.

please let me know what you think about my technic.

also if anyone thinks that i should do something to them please let my know cause i am all ears. also i am growing organically but my friend says that i should go hydro. what is the difference between the two out on the street. is one worth more than the other. i am no dealer, but my friend wants to try some and i am going to let him have a lot being that he has mad pains. but i cant just let him smoke all of it. i spent a lot of money and time. i love to grow more than anything. but i would like to make my money back if i can.
i hope this isn't sounding wrong. if so let me know. i am new to this.
