Simple rulesHelp me avoid your mistakes... I wouldn't do well in prison
1. Tell No One
2. Don't get crazy and try to grow too much
3. Take your time
4. Planing is key
This is just my opinion but I think that too many first time growers try to start off too big, 1000 watt systems, 100 plants, etc
Start with the grow area and plan from there.
Also depends on your living situation. Do you live by yourself, or with someone. Apartment or house.
There are so many factors to take into consideration when growing.
Just take your time and plan accordingly

those who know, are those who HAVE to know... because they live with me.. and NO ONE ELSE...
don't leave this site up on your computer when inviting people over... its kind of obvious to other people after they see that this site is about tips for growing...
no big operations that will cause attention.. like smell... jump in bills...
don't leave evidence lying around.. like soil, plant food or whatever... if you're not a gardner, why do you have these things lying around...it'll look suspicious
blinds on windows... don't want people peaking on you...

I grew in a house that was 5 doors down from the K9 Police officer who was housing the narcotics dog (a black German Shepard) and he trained the dog infront of his home almost daily. I started with only a couple of autoflowering plants in my closet, then a dozen or so in my basement.
I eventually moved the whole opp into my bedroom and moved myself into the living room. I vented the 2000watts out with the furnace through a carbon filter. I know the officer very well and hoped I would have a heads up before they bust my door down or even better, just tell me to stop.
But that never happened. In the end it was a Utility man sent by my landlord that got Curios and sold me out. A strong smell of Marijuana was passed on to my Landlord. When questioned I told him the truth "We smoke alot of pot" I knew the gig was up when I wasn't believed by the landlord and I ended my grow early...
I guess you just have to know when to say quit.. If your don't get to greedy you should be fine.
I would have been caught on that grow if I didn't get rid of everything, Im sure of it. But I moved out of there and bought a home somewhere else and I use another location for my grow then my residence now that i have kids.
I don't think penalty is all that bad for having under 100 plants. I mean how much jail time could possibly given for it?

shiiiiiit... should snatch that bitch up in the middle of the night... and put it to work.. haha... would feel like halloween... come back home with a huge bag full of treats from all the houses it would have sniffed out...

Yo if it doing in the same living quarters you just want to make sure house or apt or whatever is putting out a hot spot.

oh yeah.. the most important thing for a grow spot... is not to make it a hang out spot...
the more people hanging around, the more chances ot their being problems.... like people might mistake all these people as customers... when they're actually wrong, but they don't care... and they might have people watching you....
it happen to a friend that didn't grow... he just had a lot of friends that like to hang out and smoke.... but... to the people on the outside, they look like customers... because its a daily traffic
