That's pretty interesting stuff, TeaTreeOil.

So Mylar is aluminium foil, but with a plastic coating on it to prevent it from creasing, I guess. I suppose taking a flat surface and carefully gluing or taping aluminium kitchen foil to it, so it's perfectly flat, would have exactly the same effect as Mylar then.

Well, I think I've learned some things =P

Nice to see a formal study was done for it. Settles a few arguments, I think.

why thank you. i give the superthrive tons of credit. and i did what my buddy told me to do with it. i watered with only the superthrive and water for the first three weeks. than went to water with fox farms 30-10-15 nutes. than to morbidbloom 0-30-15. in my final week of flush right now. sooo stoked

but its all good..i currently just bought a 250 watt ligt because i knew there wasnt enuff! but the stuff on the walls, which everyone is confusing for TIN FOIL is actrually shinny silver reflective material
but deffinatley not tin foil!
also i can put it lower theres alott of it on the wall.. my bf told me tht the height i have it at now was the right height an shouldnt go down all the way
