Just a quick update:
They are looking good, my temp has been steady 25c with the light on and the door sealed for thae past week or so. Humidity is slightly high, still a tad over 60%. The tallest plant is 42" and the shortest is 35", i wanted to start flowering earlier but things got delayed.

Johnny Kush, love the name.

Quick update:
Like usual they are looking good. The tallest plant is 44" from the soil to the plant top, then 39", and three are 37". Buds are forming nicely. Humidity is slightly high at a hair over 60%, i need to find a way to bring it down.

Good to see the hermie drama dwindle away. Mine on the other hand has been confirmed. At least one split ball, and I've noticed more growing... Not sure how the breeding thing works (being naive and all, lol), but I think it's safe to assume that I've seeded numbers 1 and 3 kush plants, and probably the la clones.

Anyway, I digress. Good to see things are looking good, and I hope you don't mind my little meander in that last paragraph.

skunkushybrid, i don't think its a hermie anymore. That calyx has done nothing, it's pear shaped and looks like the rest minus the white hairs. She is full of female flowers and budding nicely. So it looks like it's confirmed now and 5 out of the 7 are female. Woohoo! I will still keep my eyes open for suspicious activity... well, as open as i can make them because i'm always just friggin twisted!

Oh i forgot to mention that these things don't stink?!?!?! WTF?!?!?! I enter the grow room and smell nothing, i open the flowering room door (which is sealed up) and nothing, i put my nose right to the buds and can't smell a damn thing. They don't even smell like plants there is no smell at all

Mine really smell. Have done since they started forming buds. They developed trich's on the second week. I've never known it happen that fast before from seed. They smell quite fruity. Not sure if the smell stretches any further than the buds though as my la's are very stinky.

Also, I've noticed on other grows that plants go through stages of smelliness. Some days they'll stink the place out. Others you can't smell a thing. Just give it a few more days and you'll start to notice the smell.

Yesterday the temperature here was considerably cooler outside, that means cooler in my house and cooler in my flowering chamber. I have a couple of thermometers in there in key places and my temps are now optimal. I figured i would try to take advantage of this and get the 400w hps closer. The closest plant top was 7 inches from the center of the light and the rest were slightly farther away. I monitored things closely several times during the day and it appeared that they are very happy with the light that close.

Today when the light came on i went to have a look and they are looking perky and happy like usual. Another cool day so i will keep that 400w close like i did yesterday. I wonder how the plants will benefit from this? I was just had a look at this chart and almost shit myself when i noticed the difference in the amount of lumen output between 6 and 12 inches!! WOW! I am using a hortilux 400w 55,000 lumen bulb.

Thanks for that last post major. That's around where I like to keep mine with my 400's. so long as you have a fan between tops of plants and light you can manage fine. Just have to be careful during flower, I'm forever burning my plants. It's ok once the stretch period is over.

Yeah i have i oscillating fan blowing between the plant tops and light.
I can hold my forearm (the more sensitive side) between the tops and light for an extended period of time comfortably. The ambient temperature in my room is 24c.

Thats curious to why they do not smell.
I wonder if your lights are giving off some ozone that combats the smell.
Mine smell the most when lights first come on in the morning.
Of course I am using cfl's and I have read that about them generating ozone.

I am sure it is like skunk said they are going through a phase.
Surely they will stink it up soon.
