Well I've only smoked it once, and it was some of the nicest bud ever. So after I successfully grew a few plants I had to have this strain in my lil black book. I contacted a local grower buddy of mine(i've gotten an afgooey, platinum bubba kush, and white rhino clone from him all delicious plants, the pbk being my fav)to see what he had in his arsenal...and low and behold he named off Jack Herer. So I ordered one up, and in about 2 days he brought a lil plant over for me.:leaf:

So now I have this awesome lil fucker, and I'm going to clone the shit out of her! Probably tomorrow, because Im lazy and stoned right now, and I want to be properly motivated for the task..I plan on pulling 12 clones..well hopefully 12.:bigjoint:

This will be a crazy journal, I will keep tabs on all of the clones with pics, and different grow techniques...Some will be going to big ops, and some will stay in my lil closet cab.

So to start off:
current lighting-150W HPS floralux 24/0
soil-Fox Farms ocean forest 1gal pot(soon to be re-potted)
nutes-Fox Farms Grow Big(2tsp/gal, and Big Bloom(2tbsp/gal)

The cabinet is in my closet and has been under construction for quite sometime. Im constantly changing things..Hopefully I will get this portably A/C and I can then i can finally close everything up and not have to worry about heat. The dimensions of the cab are 2'x5'x5' and I have 3 150's. There are other plants under there to keep ol' Jack company...

I'm pulling up a chair to watch this one! I know what you mean about having to have this strain after trying her. I bought seeds soon after buying an ounce of it. An your lucky you have a fellow grower to trade strains with. My Jack Herer seeds cost $178 from Dr Chronic. I should have waited till now to get them. With the economy the way it is I could have saved $35. Anyways my Jack Herer mother plant will be two months old March 13. So I'll be keeping an eye on your grow. Good Luck!

Now I have this strain on my mind... I have only smoke green bud... Etc. no one really knew what it was. also alleged WW, not sure tho cause it didn't seem potent. supposed purple something or some such.
I'm growing My own from clone moms I got from a legit dispensary. And they were labeled and sold as Hindu Kush/Skunk and GranDaddyPurp. Haven't gotten any smoke out of them yet but one will be done in a few weeks.

GL on your grow, and I'll be watching now that you have sparked my interest about Jack Herrer!

We have 4 massive Jack Herer plants that have recently gone into flower so I cant wait till harvest. I will get some pics next time I go and check on them and you will probably freak out at how big they are lol.

I will keep an eye on this thread to see how yours goes.

I'm also growing Kush/Skunk. You should be happy with the results. BIG colas!
I was thinking of trying a few Jack Herer's next time or WW.

I got the 600W digi lumatek, cooltube with batwing, and standard bulb for $420...I found one on the internet, and it would've saved me $30....but if anything goes wrong with this equipment the local dro store will take of me.

I just finished wiring everything together...that 600 is gnarly! My light meter reads off the chart in every corner! just hooked the thermometer up, so i will have a temp reading in a bit...

here are some pics of the room...still needs a lil tweaking..I have another fan coming in tomorrow for another intake...i want to keep the temps around 80 or lower if i can...this light kicks off some serious heat!

from top left: brainwreck, brainwreck, afgooey, platinum bubba kush,
from bottom left: brainwreck re-veg, brainwreck, jack herer...damn i have a lot of brainwreck!

the room will undergo some more construction tomorrow...my lil tarp zipper thing is fucked, and i have to get another one..

well I just checked my temps and they are over 90˚:wall:

i dont know how the hell I can make it cooler in there..

any ideas anyone??

yeah skmokey..when summer comes thats going to jump.. u can get that under control by doing lil things: trun lights on at night if u can,ur going to have to run that ac too $$$...i dont know how bigg ur cab is but u can use compture fans, it's hard in the summer heat.. my grow cab got up to 100F last year fucked my budds bad,and that was with a 400watt..cooltubes are the shtit for heat...good luck..

i think heat wont be a problem anymore...I just bought a compact ac for the room..cost me $300, but I like 75˚

also, im pulling air from another room to cool the light and that has dropped the temps to around 85˚
