Time to Start budding?

My plants are roughly over a foot tall and very healthy looking. they have been vegging for about a month, i have three of them, and they are under a 600 watt in my closet, is it time for them to start budding yet? any input would be appreciated kiss-ass

sorry for being vague, i am on 18 / 6 and i know that you have to set them to 12/12. fyi

There is no definite time to start budding by, just remember plants will double to triple in size during flowering, especially with your 600W. You can veg for as long as you want, its the flowering height you need to take into consideration.

It depends a lot on your stain too, since if you have a sativa dominant strain it will strech MUCH more than an indica. I had some WW from Seedsman (don't get them, their stabiliztion was terrible) and they were supposed to be a 60% sativa. I had the same light as you, a 600W hps and the plants went from about a foot cubed to about 3 ft tall and 4 feet wide by harvest WITH LST and tying! With a 600W for flower, the light should be able to reach all the main areas, so trying to keep your plants a tad smaller might be better for the bud since more light can hit them. i started with clones i got from my local dispensary. two ak-47 and one purple bubba. i am pretty sure that they are both a hybrid.
