it would work but you would definately need more than that proably 2 of those and some clf in that space a 400 hps would be good if temps dont get to hot in there if not you could do t5 or cfl just dont get as good results but i think you should have at least 2 of the lights u had a link too those only have 20000 lumens u want like 40000 or more

Ok, well my mom just gave me the ok to grow at our house cause she now got her card:)

Ok, i have a crawl space thats 3foot by 4foot by 4foot but at a slant going up to 6.5 feet.

Lighting i was thinking on this:

Would that be enough light for 2-3 plants...
Any other sugggestions?
The T5 is okay, but definatley not that great. the whole process of growing will take much longer than 3 months. Like Dhh said- get an HPS. Metal Halide would work great too. at least 400w of either one. It will really pay off in the long run and your mom will have her meds much earlier. theres no need to hide it since she is a MMJ patient. Better yet, grow it in a big pot that you can take outdoors and indoors when you need to.

It's quite an investment for a LID T5 fixture. 2k lumens a piece.... when a 26w CFL is 1600 lumens. That's 5 CFL bulbs to equal 4 of those T5's, and 4 26w CFLs take up less than 1 sq foot! They're about 2.5" wide(diameter) and 5 inches long(from socket base to tip). You could do 52 watts/sq foot(2 CFLs). That'd be similar to the T5. You can probably pick up a 4 pack of CFL bulbs for under $10. I just picked up a 4 pack of 26w 2700k CFL bulbs for $8.
