lol, sadly, i think his only option at this point is to feed more aggressively, and watch and wait; you are absolutely right about uptake and roots, and the fact that he's underfeeding is def not helping. with great soil, a once a week feeding program is great, but with mg time release (which DOES loose it's power after four weeks or so) i'm pretty sure his dirt is leeched. the roots that are there will draw nutes if nutes are available, even if they are underdeveloped, so, one would think that more food would help the situation, at least a little bit...

Yep, I agree 100%. The rootball is underdeveloped and wasn't fed nutrients often enough at the correct level.

God only knows how many or much of that root ball he's managed to damage in his clumsy repot - you shouldn't remove the soil surrounding a rootball when you repot - you repot it intact into a bigger container - that way you minimise the damage to the roots by careless handling.

As I said before - due to his lack of knowledge and understanding of all the issues, I'd be amazed if this plant brings in anything come harvest time, and whatever it does bring in will be a reduced yield to what it could of been.

All because the guys pig headed and ignorant and won't listen to advice.

Babygrow - See, the thing about you is that you are exceptionally skillfull, talented and in my opinion very knowledgable but obviously you take things to heart. If I was you, I would of not responded back after the first insult and directed my help to other people on this forum that would appreciate not only your time but the invaluble experience you provide.

mod's are not here to answer your pm's. In fact we can delete them without even reading them if we so choose. If a mod' or anybody else decides they HAVE THE TIME to help and do so, you should be grateful. If they DON'T HAVE THE TIME, then you shouldn't complain but move move onto the next form of information gathering.

I don't know if that is true hempie. Usually a "promotion" within a job constitues that you won't be doing your old job anymore. It is smart for a site to "promote" people that are willing to get involved and help. There job duties i'm assuming change a little bit once they become a mod maintaining order versus assisting at every perceived chance we think they have.

There are lots and lots of experts on this site. Lots and lots of journals where people have encountered the same problems people send pm's about. This is an information site. The place is full of it. there really shouldn't be any need to bother people with pm's.
