Lockup?

hey, long time since i been on here, but im having a slight issue with the fact that 2 of 14 of my babies are growing extremely fast compared to the others "of the same brands", its been about 3 weeks since sprout and like i just said 2 of the 14 are huge, the others seems to be locked in a sense, havnt really seen any improvement or growth from them, a few of them have deep purple color on the tops of the main stems. i water them weekly of course, i add a drop of superthrive to each gallon of water i use, im just not sure if this is just how it is or what, 1 of 4 sensi star is huge the others small, 1 of 3 white widow same thing, blueberries are still very small in comparison, same with my cheesewrecks. the temp is normally around 86 in the day for them, i know its a little high and it peaks at 90 no more then that though, so would heat you think be slowing the others? there all in the same zone, same soil, same everything, pretty much, so is there anything i can do to get them to keep up with the big ones? i dont want to have a month pass then 2 are 1 and a half foot and the others still 8 inches, that would suck lol.

if anyone has any idea please let me know, thankskiss-ass

The fast growers are sometimes males. Look at the odds here....12 are growing uniformly and hopefully that is a good sign. :hump:

Haha, always looknig on the bright side Boneman :D. Good advice, the other strains, blueberry especially, may grow a little slower as well. Good luck mate, I'll look into it for you if you can get some pictures up ... :blsmoke:

yeah ill definitally try to get some photos, by the way, these are all feminized seeds lol :) some of the smaller ones though like i said seem to be getting purple stems, i heard it wasnt a big deal for youngins though, and i just now heard that doing a 16/8 light cycle is a bad thing.. is that true? cause thats what i been doing.

Your set-up looks nice mate, I see what you meant by the two that were growing faster than the rest, however, upon looking at the pictures, you're alright. You just have two that are taking off more than the others, a little better growth tendencies.

However, it looks like your plants are pretty stretch my friend, you should shorten the gap between your light and your plants. You'd ideally like those stems to go thicker and not as vertical. When budding comes you're going to need stem vigor most for support, I would suggest feeding some nitrogen dominant nutrients to those plants after the whole lot has developed 3 leaf sets and you'll see some thickness. You could also start using molasses with waterings too, 1 tspn / gallon water to start. Good luck and happy growing mate, let those other plants catch up :blsmoke:

lol thank you all for the advise, i actually have 2 fans mounted on the walls of the inside, 3 purifiers on the outer parts, i been feeding them a little 5-1-1 organic mix, but see like i said im noticing the stems particularly on the smaller ones already turning purple, as for my stretching situation i know i know lol but before the temps were at 92 with it being about 2 feet away so i moved it a little more, but i figured out a way to keep it cooler so ill lower it some tonight although im going to be freezing on my side of the room lol. it was worrying me that some of them dont seem to be moving whatsoever after a week of watching everyday, no growth whatsoever so i was trying to figure out if this has something to do with the purping of the stems/ seems to have a yellow shade on all the little ones, but the 2 bigger ones seem to be comin along great lol. well in any case ill keep updating with you guys like i said ill try to post a few more pics but the damn light seems to keep me from having detailed pics without the damn bright orange glow lol. the stretching really bums me out though, let me know what you guys think i should have as a watering schedual i use distilled water/ rotate with purified water from sink "for trace minerals ect" i give them water every friday right now, say 86 degrees would i need to feed it a little more often you think? and also should i be using the food + drop of superthrive every time or every other time? appreciate it. im still a complete newbie , this will be the second time, first time i actually did five and harvested all 5 so i got hopes that i might be able to pull it off this time to lol :)
