I've always wanted to take a crotch rocket for a spin, just out of curiosity's sake.
I never rode a streetbike until i bought one off the showroom floor... That day i took my R1 home was an intresting day let me tell you! ...All i have to say is you have to understand how heavy the bike is, and the power... lol my bike would go to 90 mph in first gear in about 3 seconds. You cant even imagine how fast that is...I've always wanted to take a crotch rocket for a spin, just out of curiosity's sake.

Take it slow if you ever do take one out
To add another note to my first day on a streetbike, I was on I-95 coming home and was nut hugging the gas tank.... BIG MISTAKE!!! I hit a joint going over a bridge at 80 and damn near wrecked my bike with 37 miles on it! Talk about pain!lol...ive been there... hes right though careful these thing kill peopl really quickly !
My GSX`eR 750... is race mod`ed and would put you on your bottom in the middle of the road if you snezzed to hard !!!! im not joking ! (ive almost done it ) 1mm on throttle = probably more power than you can fathom!
I was more referring to people turning left or making a left turn onto the road you are currently traveling on.Lol your kidding right? People never see motorcyclists... hell the first day i had my bike i counted being cut off 7 times. And thats just as bad imo.
that's why i ride at the back of the seat...To add another note to my first day on a streetbike, I was on I-95 coming home and was nut hugging the gas tank.... BIG MISTAKE!!! I hit a joint going over a bridge at 80 and damn near wrecked my bike with 37 miles on it! Talk about pain!
I guess it's what your used to, but the main difference is speed and handling. If you think your 883 is fast, a sport bike would blow your mind.I've always wanted to take a crotch rocket for a spin, just out of curiosity's sake.
it's all what your used to...but I don't tote nobody anywayI don't get lower back pain, I get "neck knot" where it hurts high up between your shoulder blades.
I prefer having my feet out in front of me, it's what I'm used to. To me laying down on the tank like that doesn't seem as though it would be comfortable. Having a passenger laying on my back seems even worse.
Well when your 6'5 you pretty much are laying on your nutz in any position... ouchthat's why i ride at the back of the seat...
You know they make floor boards so you can have more of a sitting position while riding... Makes it look more like an old persons bike but its definetly more comfortableI guess it's what your used to, but the main difference is speed and handling. I have ridden both styles and what I can't get used to is riding with my feet out in front of me. I rode a friends fat boy one weekend, about 400 miles, and when the day was done my lower back absolutely killed me.I think most HD/cruiser bike riders don't really ride long distances, they are mostly for cruising around town and such.
this a road that borders the great smokey mountain park.it's called the dragon, 318 turns in 11 miles... I have done many times in the daylight, but only once at night and fuck that shit....real bike; Nice...we do similar but at night and no where near other cars & bikes.....! (i do silly shit sometimes too! )
Sydney knights........
