Im growing a very small plant and I have a question.

If i'm letting it veg for only about 3 weeks or a little less then putting it into a flower stage to keep it short do I even add any growth fertilizers or should I just use flowering ones?

for the first couple of weeks you shouldnt have to add any nutes. maybe in the 3 week something high with N would be a good idea since your leaves give your plant energy.then your flower nutes after that.
but you should be fine to just start with the flower nutes. whats the NPK of those nutes?

No you wont need any nutes until like the second week of flowering...then give flower nutes.

Waiting that long to start your nutrient cycle will not give the plant it's maximum strength going into flowering. I would argue that growth (vegetative) nutrients are most important as they build the platform for your budding plants, if stem structure is insufficient the plant will not be strong enough to support heavy budding.

Start your nutrition on the third week of vegetative growth and maintain for a couple weeks before you switch over to your flowering stage. Shoot me a message if you'd like more information on nutrients and cycles if you'd like. Good luck mate, good post S&C

Yeah well I would argue too espacially if he said he will veggie only for 3 weeks or less...I haven't had plants that would need nutes after only 2,5 - 3 weeks in veggie. If stem structure is insufficient, he will have to support the buds...that's just what it is if he wants to veggie for this long. Good luck!

well as for when to start the nutes, it pretty much depends on strain. some strains can handle the nutes within the first week and some may only need 1/4 strength the 3rd or 4th week especially fert sensitive strains.
an experienced grower will see the signs early and let the plant tell them when they are hungry.
