Panasonic Whisper Fans

I have a grow cab that is 1.5ft x 2ft x 5ft. Im trying to pick a suitable exhaust for it. I have a homemade bubbleponic system and 2 85 watt cfl. I saw a Panasonic Whisper Fan 110 cmf online. Would this be a good choice? I need it to be as quite as possible and stong enough to push air through a corbon scrubber.

Thats probably not the best choice for your application. With the CFL's I would recomend an inline booster fan. You can find them a Home Depot for around $25. Also another great vent is the S&P Mix vent. I would also recommend Pulling the air through the scrubber.

The HD $30 inlines won't work with a scrubber. They are just too weak.
The S&Ps work well, though far from silent. (have both here)

I haven't tried one with my scrubber, but it works well for my intake.

Which S&P fan do you have? I use the TD150 and it is pretty damn quiet.

TD150 also.(slow speed even) Though could be mounted better less noise. but I only got 4 weeks or so to go, then I'm done until Sept. I dig the cartridge style. Can change from push to pull easy.

Is there any specific reason why those panasonic fans wouldn't work? The only reason I want to know is because they are so quite and still push 110 cmf. Money is not an object but stealth is.

I am sure you could use one but size and weight of them compared to the air they move could be better. I think they weigh around 14 pounds or so. There are much more efficient fans out there. But then again I haven't used the panasonics.
