I use super b+, its my understanding its the same thing.

very concentrated, it says you can foilar spray with it, but i did once and it burnt the shit out of my plants, even mixed at half the reccommended spray dosage.
In any event, we've proven there are a ton of superthrive knockoffs, so it must be good for something.

Your wrong, thrive alive and super b+ are nothing like Super Thrive. It is my understanding that super thrive is a complete fertilizer and that Super B+ is a flowering supplement.

Thrive Alive is OMRI listed and is not a complete fertilizer or bloom supplement.

I know what is in my Thrive Alive...

This is how Super Thrive is advertised.

Superthrive - Vitamins & Hormones

"Absolutely miraculous!" Superthrive is an amazing vitamin and hormone supplement that has long been known by experts as the worlds #1 plant supply. Not a fertilizer. Combine with fertilizer to stimulate amazing results. Used by growers for decades... Why? Because it helps everything grow!

Can you tell me what those vitamins and hormones are? I think it would be useful in a Christmas tree orchard not my garden, the plants that product targets are large trees, not marijuana or tomatoes. It is not for production of fruit but growing neighborhood trees.

What makes you think that the product is for or targets "large trees?"

If you Google Superthrive uses you will see that it is used for almost any for of plant life. It is used to grow aquatic plant life and carnivorous plants like Venus Flytraps and all sorts of vegetables, flowers and fruits.

Superthrive has 50 vitamins and hormones necessary for healthful plant growth, including Vitamin B-1 which is especially useful for minimizing stress in plants, Superthrive is used extensively by bonsai enthusiasts, who put extreme amounts of stress on trees through frequent branch and root pruning in the miniaturation process. Bonsai are not "large trees."

It works on about every type of plant or bush or tree there is so why do you believe it is limited in its use and as you said targeted for large tree usage or as you also mentioned Christmas Trees?

So you can copy a label, good for you. I don't believe everything I read but I do know it is not OMRI Listed.

This should not be in the organic section of the forum.

Do you use super thrive? Show me what you got... I'm curious about a controlled experiment.

It seems to me that you are going off of internet knowledge lets talk about real world knowledge.

Their website talks about trees and shows trees, good enough proof for me that the product is aimed at trees.

If your going to continue to read the label and website to me I'm going to start believing you are truly a tool that will believe anything you read. I have my own set of eyes and have read the label and the website.

Again, what are these "50 vitamins and hormones"?

It seems to me that you are going off of internet knowledge lets talk about real world knowledge.

My family owns a nursery, as in trees and bushes and not plants or taking care of kids. We have between 12 and 14 acres covered in a pot in pot system. Four members of my family have botany degrees. Yes I copied some advertising but I also added small bits of what I read from various sites where people have written about using Superthrive so when you combine what I have learned from the four botanists in my family and roughly 37 years of personal growing experience and what the manufacturer says about their product and what people who have used it on many different things, not just large trees, have said I am not just talking from Internet knowledge.

Plants of all types have certain basic functions that are the same regardless of what type they may be. Those basic functions require and rely on certain things to perform all the various processes they perform. Superthrive supplements those basic needs.

Now maybe it does not fit in the organic thread and then maybe it does. Unless someone knows for sure if Superthrive is made from all natural products or if some is chemicals or synthesized it is impossible to say for sure if it belongs in this forum or not.

Regardless it is here and much of what I have read that people have written about it has been wrong, like when one person said it is both a supplement and a fertilizer and another said how it is targeted for growing large neighborhood trees and not vegetables and other plants. Those are opinions and inaccurate beliefs being given and nothing more. They are even less than Internet knowledge.

This means nothing to me. What experience do you have with marijuana and superthrive and do you have any pictures?

I'm glad you know how to use your bold button otherwise I would never have seen this paragraph... Kinda a duh statement though...

What can superthrive do that my OMRI Listed thrive alive cannot do better?

Correction, they are not OMRI and therefor not ORGANIC. Again, what are these 50 vitamins and hormones? Oh educate me Mr. Know-it-all. I see that you joined this month and have not logged off the site, I look at your threads and read your posts. I feel that you are a newb to this hobby as you have been on for less than a month and have nothing more than garbage posts and are posting all day long every day. Where are pictures of what you can do? What do I have to base your credibility on?

With the background you have you should know what OMRI is and why this product should not be in the organic section. This leads me to believe your knowlege is all internet based.

Your trying to talk about me without referencing me directly, and you screw up. I stated I believed it to be a full fertilizer, until I went back and read more about it. I then came back to the thread and stated it was actually a supplement not a full fertilizer. The label has mixing instructions for it to be used on many types of plants. Where is the proof on marijuana or a similar plant is what I'm asking you and your not showing. What are the first words on the superthrive website? "NOW, 80 acres of TREES."

(Bet you couldn't see that without me underlining it could you?)

Your not proving anything to me by believing an advertisement and being able to regurgitate a label.

I believe that anyone looking for a B1 supplement use Thrive Alive B1 as it is much more superior a product and OMRI Listed to be true organic.

Wow this got really hot really fast. I think super thrive sure made this thread grow....does that count.

First i would just like to say. The reason i posted this in Organics is because i was wondering if it was organic. And because i feel the the organic people who search this part of the site have knoledge that i find a little more trust worthy...you guys know who you are.

Second, SOMA uses it. And if you don't know who Soma is, you should look him up. He is a great reputable organic marijuana gardener. And he's 100% organic.

Now, that being said. Who the fuck cares really who or what product is better then the next. Lets face it. There are thirty four million companies all selling basically the same stuff. HOWEVER!! maybe the country you live in only has product A or Product B

You use what you can get.

AND my opinion is this. If it can grow a tree, it can grow tomato, it can grow mary jane. All plants work on some real basic rules. They all have there quirks, but they are all plants.

Thank you!:bigjoint:

This is really all I was trying to get at with this thread and the only reason I opened it.

Sorry to muddy up the thread with misinformation.

Not all fertilizer companies were created equal. I trust OMRI first to do the testing for me.
